I bought AeroflyFS4, as I found the Aerofly concept appealing initially - only to collect dust on my SSD now. Thus it's a no, too. Every one of the sims has something I can't get on the others. June 27, 20232 yr In the same boat as many here… There is just not enough time or reasons to maintain a second sim; especially now with the announcement of MSFS2024. For me, a second sim would be like the CEO of a Billion Dollar company having a second job at a fast food restaurant…on the other side of town.
June 27, 20232 yr Absolutely. I love P3d and I use MSFS. I have 3 hard drives and plenty of room 1 hard drive for MSFS and 1hard drive for P3d. I use both every day. P3d for real simulation, in my opinion, and MSFS for GA VFR flying. Viva la difference. Stan

June 27, 20232 yr Nope, I just use P3DV5. I do have FSX installed mainly for some design work I do in P3DV5. I also have X-Plane 12 and 11 because I took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer when Xplane 12 came out, but have not really done anything with it. Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.

June 28, 20232 yr Not only a second one, but a third one and maybe a fourth one too: I keep P3D v5 as my main sim for tubeliner operations, and MSFS for GA ops. In my laptop I keep using FS9 for all uses. I have FSX there too, just in case. However, despite having had my laptop for almost a year, I still can't manage to install all the planes and airports I'd like to. I prefer flying in my main rig than setting up my laptop. I also had XP11 and P3D v4.5. I could never adjust to the former, I replaced the latter with v5.
