Karen apparently spots alien abord flight.

She was doing the others a service, spotting that fake person, so why was she removed?

I suppose there will be more to the story later...

It sort of looks like a scene that should have been put in the movie Airplane. (Surely I can't be serious, LOL).

It is probable that the culprit behind such incidents is the use of recreational marijuana. These occurrences have become increasingly frequent and commonplace. In the previous month alone, there were seven similar incidents that occurred at our company on flights outbound from the US. Ironically, despite being intoxicated to such an extent, all of the individuals involved chose to sue the airline.

And nobody had the presence of mind to film the alien. What a missed opportunity.

I sawcthis and fully believed it was for clicks alone. Really stupid.

Thank you.

Maybe.

It's also true that she could be suffering from a mental disorder. Bipolar disorder can generate such behavior, along with a number of disorders. Or indeed, just a stunt for social media. You can never tell these days.

Edit: According to someone in the comments section, witnesses said she was engaged in a conversation with a guy in a hoodie. He said something to her and she freaked out. The guy apparently then winked to the person near him.

Hopefully, if true, the guy has been questioned.

Longer clip.

Good lord, that woman's screeching voice was worse than fingernails on a chalkboard! I do hope the door kicked her in the arse as she was deplaning the aircraft!

Just give it another 5-10 years and see what happens. Lots of young people are using thinking it’s all fun and games, doing it to be cool and fit it, but studies are showing the many possible dangers of smoking this. Then take the fact that it seems a lot more people these days already have psychological issue, putting cannabis using on top of it can aggravate the situation even more. I can’t speak to where you’re from but here in the US it  feels like we’re the most over medicated, over stimulated and least healthy nation on the planet.

Ironic that for years we’ve been doing everything we can to tamp down cigarette smoking and now it seems we’re almost encouraging marijuana smoking.

See link below by NIH for cannabis dangers.

I am located in the NY Tristate Area based in JFK, and I fully agree with your sentiments. However, it seems that our values have been compromised. The incidents I mentioned were all caused by passengers vaping recreational marijuana. They acted inappropriately, causing disruptions to the airline's schedule and endangering the safety of fellow travelers. Despite this, they even had the audacity to sue me, the FAs, and the airline, claiming their rights were violated. On top of that, not that they walked free, they were booked on the next available flight in business class. It's an absurd situation, to say the least.

I'm guessing she saw a man in woman's clothing.  Probably the first time she ever heard of such a thing.  The quick glimpse looked like it might have been a flight attendant.  One of the comments on the original video suggested the same thing.

We used to see them occasionally in Star Trek.  "Uh... is that guy wearing a dress??"

Without going too far down this road, you can blame the meteoric rise of constantly connected social media and 24/7 opinion-based television for much of it.
