Also the strobes and beacon lights are missing. You can see them reflecting off the ground but the actual lights are missing

Oh the strobes are there.  If fact...it has dual LED strobes that flash independently...very nice touch.

As for the beacon...its there too, but sadly the physical bulb inside does not flash.

Oh well they'll need to get that sorted out

minor thing IMO...the flash is there and if they get to it and fix it that would be cool, but it doesn't detract from the experience, its a great plane!

On the A310 for reverse I have it "sort of" working.   As you know on the Bravo airliner throttles they have those reverser levers.  I'm not at home right now to check but I think I set them up to the MSFS "Reverse Thrust Toggle" and flick them on rollout, and it does activate the reversers.  But it doesn't work all of the time.  Sometimes I have to do it twice, or then do it again to get the reversers off.

I figured once the A300-600 dropped, I would really dig into it and try to make it work better.

I don't think I'm going to mess with reverse thrust on their throttle calculation screen in the EFB.  Reason being, I don't want reverse on my regular throttle axis in this airplane, it's not realistic.  I want to use the reverser levers on the Bravo, which is closer to what the real plane has.

OK, I have it worked out at my end. First of all I am using the Airbus A320 Throttle Handle\Spoiler and Flaps lever package from Flightsim Factory (I did have the Honeycomb A320 Levers before) which has detents for Spoilers, Throttles and Flaps (I'm OK with that). In the Control Options I have setup a New profile for my Bravo throttle Quadrant (name it whatever you want)  as the reverse thrust settings differ slightly. You need 2 Input categories Under POWER MANAGEMENT \ THROTTLE. Here is what I did:

1. Under "HOLD THROTTLE REVERSE THRUST" I selected 2 Key combinations, for Joystick Buttons 30 + 48 (Your Reverse Thrust Handles).

2. Under "DECREASE THROTTLE" I selected the same 2 Key Combinations as above (It will say they are used somewhere else - IGNORE and Validate).

3. Then SAVE it.

Now when the Throttles are in the "IDLE" position, I Pull up the "Reverse Levers" and the Engines go into Full Reverse without having to move the Throttles below the IDLE Detent (as for the A320). To go back to "IDLE" I simply push the "Reverse Levers " forward. Works for me!

NOTE: I am not using the EFB Throttle Calibration in the iniBuilds A300-600.

I have to say, since I was on the Runway with engines running to test the "reversers" out, I could not resist taking her up for a short spin, my first, just to see how everything handles. Wow! What a joy to hand fly! I can't wait to do my first flight fully setup from C & D. I must admit the FPS does seem a bit lower than other aircraft, as others have mentioned, but I'm sure iniBuilds will address that at some point.

Regards

Manual is a joke

Yea, I think they relied on their videos and put only the most basic things in the manual. The videos are extensive, however, and rather well done. The challenge is needing to sit through hours of videos when I could find what I needed in a manual much quicker.

This said, I am on decent into KDTW from CYYZ on my first flight and I am really enjoying the aircraft. I have a lot to learn so I am going to enjoy becoming proficient over the next few months. Also, my frames leaving Toronto in heavy weather -- overcast, raining and fog -- were pretty good and the flight was completely smooth.

The biggest disappointments with A300 is lack of terrain radar. Leonardo has it. PMDG has it. Fenix has it. No sure what is issue here

just checked their discord server, now I believe it's a pretty bumpy debut for A300 today lol, some 70(and increasing) support requests were posted on discord alone, w/ a number of malignant bugs identified.

This was mentioned on discord;

Default one does not run well, we're exploring alternatives/ways we can use the default but improve the performance

They are coming up with a custom solution as mentioned at https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/20394-terr-radar/

Here's an odd question....does anybody know if you can adjust or remove any part of the cockpit seats? This is helpful setting up views on a triple monitor setup when you might need to move further back in the cockpit and then zoom in.

On the Fenix you can slides the seats back and of course on the PMDG you can remove them completley which is great.

I don't think you can on the ini A310....so I don't suspect you can on this either but thought I'd ask.

Cheers

I've had a look but I don't think it is possible for the seats to move at all currently.

Can anyone suggest some good and realistic routes to fly with this bird?  Most current ones seem to be freight only which is great, but any good passenger examples or ways of looking up the history of some routes that used to be operational?

You can use https://flightsimdispatch.com/  to find historic flights.

On my second cargo flight already, performance is superb, aircraft behaves perfectly well, very similar to the A310. Happy camper here.
