As always in flightsimming this is highly subjective and depends on what you consider realistic and immersive. I find it completely unrealistic that the other traffic is completely ignoring me, so that I have to search for my own gaps in the traffic flow to maintain separation on approach or to avoid other traffic landing on top of me when I line up for takoff, or to always have to expect runway incursions when I am on the takeoff run or on short final. I find it completely unrealistic that I am controlled by a different ATC system than all other traffic. Don't get me wrong, PSXT is a fantastic app and I myself enjoyed it very much for a while (until RealTraffic became a little over-ambitious with its pricing model). But after using FSHud and looking at the upcoming BeyondATC and VoxATC I cannot imagine ever going back to "self-ATC" any more. But of course, for those who consider a realistic and immersive ATC experience less important than true-to-life movements of AI traffic (and nothing is wrong with that), nothing can beat PSXT (if you are willing to pay the price). Those ATC program while better than default still aren't very realistic though. It all depends on the gives and takes that you find acceptable. January 24, 20242 yr WHile PSXT/RT is super great when it works, it does not work at any place of the world. North America, Europe, AU/NZ are covered very well at 80-90% level at large airports, but South America, most of China aren't covered at all or badly. If you plan to fly between specific airports, please make sure that PSXT/RT covers them. https://www.lekseecon.nl/downloads/psxtraffic/MSFS airports archive.txt 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

You can instruct PSXT to remove any conflicting aircraft. Also, if you choose a particular callsign, it will be suppressed in MSFS, allowing you to take its place. Conflicts be gone! There are always compromises in flight simming. At the end of the day, you choose the option that works best for you. January 24, 20242 yr I've treid PSXT but after seeing (at KMIA, for testing) some of the landing aircraft literally landing in the grass and every single of the landing aircraft (even those landing on the correct surface) disappearing after the landing roll (which apparently has something to do with how they operate the transponder), I've come to the conclusion that this is anything but immersive. Back to using AIG + AIGround + AIFlow, almost no immersion breaking MSFS-stuff anymore (no runway incursions, no clipping aircraft etc.), realistic flight plans (incl. STARs and SIDs) for any sim time at any place of the world, and I can even set the real active runway to be used for takeoff and landing (through AIGround & AIFlow). Even Beyond2ATC will have a hard time surpassing this, at least in regards to AI behaviour. Edited January 24, 20242 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. For a couple of months now there's been issues with the RT data feeds. Unless things improve I won't be renewing my RT subscription. Everyone as he/she likes it …. I wonder if I could combine PSXT/RT + Pilot2ATC and Live ATC? This way I get real traffic + live ATC, plus I can interact with Pilot2ATC to get ATC instructions. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

January 25, 20242 yr Since the whole AI/ATC system is still such a mess, I use FSLTL with mostly static aircraft to give the airport a little bit of life and a small amount of IFR traffic (around 20). This has worked best for me and doesn't kill your FPS.... Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11
January 25, 20242 yr PSXT + Real Traffic for the injection, then use FSLTL for model matching only. That's my preference. Thomas Derbyshire

Although Pilot2ATC doesn't keep taxying aircraft out of my way, it has on some occasions held me at the runway threshold to wait for landing aircraft. Petraeus
