fenis A320 - latest release

Featured Replies

Been holding off buying this but the latest release looks good plus a discount doesn't hurt.

Does it have Weather radar (such as it is in MSFS)?

Nope.

Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke + TCA Sidestick + TFRP Rudders

No

Apparently PMDG have changed their mind about the standard WX radar and will integrate it into the 777, hopefully Fenix will also reconsider their stance on this. Asobo have now repeatedly made it clear that they will not open up the weather API, so for the foreseeable future there will either be the standard radar or nothing at all.

Doesn't bode well for ActiveSky then does it.

Btw, the missing wx radar is not Fenix fault. It is MS unwillingness to provide the needed data in an API.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

It does not have weather radar. Not Fenix or any other developers fault with it being so basic. I believe the reason FBW got rid was it was a massive FPS hit.

Your thread title was 1 letter off from being very embarrassing. Your auto correct is sus… 🤔😂

It has a working cockpit door though 😁

If you’re into airliner flying, I can’t see many good reasons for not getting it. The flash sale will last a little longer (I think!). There’s also a thread on the latest update.

7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

I know the Asobo "weather radar" is bare (iirc isn't it some sort of bitmaps?), but IMO it is better than nothing. I dont understand why Fenix is so reluctant to implement it in their product. Is it a technical limitation? It's confusing to me as I see other products (Inibuild, FSS Ejets, Leonardo, etc.) with the default weather radar....

John.

Should you get the fenis A320 ?
Yex, definitely !!!

Source please? That‘s the first I hear about it. Until now RSR and Kok have again and again said that the standard WX radar is unusable and not worth integrating at all.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
