In the OneStore folder (inside Official), find "microsoft-aircraft-a320neo" > SimObjects > Airplanes > microsoft-aircraft-a320neo and delete the models and textures you don't want. All the ones you listed will be 12 folders, 101mb. There's no 'aircraft.cfg' file to be edited. May 23, 20242 yr SU15 has completely screwed up my installation. Been using MSFS for over 2 years and know my way around it very well. Had been on the SU15 Beta for perhaps at least 6 weeks or more. Started the sim this evening, and as expected knew it would not update as I had the latest beta build. Installed all the updates in Content Manager and all seemed fine. No time to fly tonight but loaded up PMDG 737 and weirdly the cockpit was completely dead. No switches or dials worked, displays all black and yoke turned 90 degrees. Restarted sim...same problem. Rebooted pc and same again. Loaded up xbox insider app and removed myself from the beta preview. Restarted the sim and all hell broke loose. First it got stuck in a look downloading a 2.1gb 'update', it then tried syncing with the cloud then redownloaded the same 2.1gb update. Settings have been changed back to default as its asking me stuff about narration etc. I also see from opening the Usercfg.opt file loads of entries are back to default. If I continue with MSFS options screens it then tries to install entire sim again. I quit the installer and manually edited the cfg file to the install path the sim was installed. Starting sim again still loops with that 2.1gb 'update' then reverts to thinking it wishes to install in the default Users folder. I have never had any issues before with updates and fearing a full install maybe needed. I dont want to loose all my controller settings and more importantly my flight log 😞 UPDATE: MSFS has completely and utterly wiped my existing Official One Store folder on my D:/ drive, its now empty Edited May 23, 20242 yr by cj-ibbotson Chris Ibbotson AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D / MSI AMD MPG x670E Carbon Motherboard / Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming OC 32GB GDDR7 PCI-Express Graphics Card / Corsair DOMINATOR Titanium RGB Grey 64GB 6000MHz AMD EXPO DDR5 / NZXT C1200 Gold ATX 3.1 - Fully Modular Low-Noise PC Gaming Power Supply - 1200 Watts - 80 PLUS Gold / 48” UltraGear™ UHD 4K OLED Gaming Monitor / 40" Philips 4K LED Monitor / Honeycomb Alpha Yoke / Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant / WinWing Orion Rudder Pedals c/w dampener / WinWing Ursa Minor Airline Joystick / WinWing Airbus MCDU

May 23, 20242 yr Working very well for me. Download and install was totally swift and trouble free, pretty much max xfr rate over my Gbit connection and no interruptions. I've been sitting here with a flight running (A340 north of out Dallas on AP) for a couple of hours now and it is unbelievably smooth. Not a single stutter for me whereas it had been a complete pain for weeks before. 4k, DX12, HDR, ultra plus and smooth as silk. This may finally have become the sim I hoped it would be. (as long as it doesn't flake out on me and wipe all my settings again, as it did yesterday <grin>) Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Settings have been changed back to default as its asking me stuff about narration etc. It wanted to do the same for me (I also had left the beta before) and I noticed that it wanted to install the sim in the default drive. I simply clicked on the path and changed it back to were my sim actually is. Problem solved. However it still redownloaded a bunch of stuff that I had purposefully deleted beforehand so I had to go to all the installed stuff in the content manager again and delete what I didn't want. Must have deleted some good 25Gigs of stuff. Edited May 23, 20242 yr by Farlis
May 23, 20242 yr I thought that if you were on beta you were current. You dont need to install MSFS. sp

I also am getting stuttering in the map view when zooming (with mouse wheel). I was flying most every day and was in the beta. This did not happen even once. My update today was 0 because the latest beta is the same as the release. Therefore the map stuttering is because of the new content in the content manager (world updates?) and not due to the SU15 update. Because the map never stuttered for me all through the beta releases, including the beta from 2 days ago. The "stuttering" is like a 10 second pause for me sometimes. This only happens in the map view page. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 23, 20242 yr Update worked nicely for me. First I updated xbox app and xbox authentication provider in MS appstore. Then downloaded MSFS update via Xbox app, launched MSFS. By the way update speed was pretty good unlike previous update. After MSFS fire up menu screen there were about 10+ updates in content manager. So updated all of them. Finally in market place I downloaded FREE ini airbus. Quick impressions: - no noticeable loss of increase of fps - 42 sim FX is now in full glory - splash screen is the same LOL But Dune 2 just dropped on HBO - time to rewatch LOL Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). May 23, 20242 yr The pauses in map zoom was happening for me while stuff in the content manager (world updates) was downloading and installing. I think that is the problem. The world updates are doing stuff to files that the map is reading. EDIT: Yep, now that the new content has downloaded (world updates) the map zoom is back to normal.
