It’s one of the first things I noticed but I don’t think we’ve touched on it at all in 8 pages. Apologies if I’ve missed it. 2020 did ship with a United livery for the ugly generic AI airliner, but they removed it in an update for some reason. Also the ini A320Neo comes with a few IRL liveries. Technically that's a default aircraft now 😛 FSX came with a Kenmore Air livery for a few aircraft. Kenmore Air is a real sea plane operator in Washington state. Edited June 10, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
June 10, 20241 yr It will be a day one purchase even if the likes of PMDG & Fenix are not in on day 1. Will still be able to fly the Neo and the A330 plus what every else.

This feature will bring in more users to the game. The more people that use this platform, the more revenue they’ll bring in and that will allow MS/Asobo to bring folks like Working Title to give us simmers what we actually want. Just look at those avionics upgrades. I’m convinced that MS and Asobo want to make MSFS as real and as close to real life aviation as they can get, but it’s also smart of them to have it be accessible and enticing to everyone. I have to admit, sometimes, with a toddler, I only have an hour or two to fly and maybe some of those career mode flights would be fun, especially when they look as beautiful as they do in the trailer. Add in some cool audio scripts and bespoke graphics that are relevant to the mission and I’d bet that’s a pretty fun hour spent. Agreed, but some of us just want to wander around and marvel in the beauty of the planet. June 10, 20241 yr I wonder if Asobo is enhancing ground crew activities such that GSX is much less relevant. I would feel for Virtuali for taking this project on and then losing market share to this but I also believe Asobo could do a far better job and I would welcome it. GSX remains squirely at times and I don't blame Virtuali for that he's hamstrung I'm sure by limitations in the SDK or what have you. I replied the way I did because you're flagrantly projecting your own stereotypes, and compounding that with your seemingly extremely limited knowledge of both the player-base and IRL pilot demographics. I fly with no pilot/pax models on because they block my view, suck up system resources, and generally look like battered mannequins in what are otherwise photo-real cabins & cockpits. I flew on a charter flight the other day where the pilots were both young minority females. Coming from a family of pilots and flight attendants, I asked them for a picture and an autographed boarding pass because they're my heroes. They both lit up with huge smiles and happily obliged. Made my day. You, not so much... Edited June 10, 20241 yr by UrgentSiesta

I'm guessing 2024 will just have visible boarding passengers maybe an improved pushback, I doubt they'll have all of the same features. Edited June 10, 20241 yr by Tuskin38

Second, it's hilarious to see grown men getting triggered by a woman of color. The same people who coined the term 'snowflakes' are snowflakes themselves. 🤣
June 10, 20241 yr I’m in! Cheers. Great places to fly in MSFS: https://youtube.com/channel/UCqCzobOlQLeGycCFnavVrPg
June 10, 20241 yr To get back on topic, I like what I see in the trailer, but we all remember the MSFS2020 trailer and how amazing it looked. In reality, the sim was much different because it all depended on your settings and what your PC could handle. I'm sure this trailer has a lot of fluff, so hopefully during the Expo we see actual gameplay. My concerns, which are likely the same as most of the community, are performance, photogrammetry quality, and the quality of the data stream. Edited June 10, 20241 yr by YVR_23
June 10, 20241 yr How about them teasing that the F16 is going to launch with the game day one! I am finger's crossed all yal's aerosoft rumors are true! No offense to DC designs, but Aerosoft is a cut above. I saw someone commenting on YT about the demographic thing, I'll be honest, it did not even cross my mind until someone brought it up. I have seen females fly F16s for the air national guard, I would assume one could fly an airbus... Would be nice to be able to turn off pilots in general to improve PC performance, but I fly virtual cockpit anyways. I am sure a pair of black hands when you spend 99.9% of your time in heads up looking at instruments, you'll likely never notice. But who knows, maybe they'll please everyone's fantasy. Fair take? trust me... I have strong opinions, just not worth it. Edited June 10, 20241 yr by Sweetd31
