The last update of Map enhancement mod, caused all kinds of problems on my system, including losing connection to my router. Finally had to delete it.

I'm beginning to think that this might be causing some issues too.

And they say MSFS 2024 will put even more of the load away from your PC and onto their servers. Can't wait to see how that goes.

I think Avsim and MSFS are sharing a server 🤣.

Yes, I tried to start the sim several times in the last two hours and it only loaded once.

Looks like there is an intermittent issue at play.   Whilst it seems to be running now, some of the terrain looks quite blurry even at LOD 250.  I also noticed some blue roads around deal in Kent which seemed a bit odd.

For the past few weeks almost daily I get an error when try to launch MSFS.  Usually pretty much 100% of the time logging out and back into the Microsoft store and XBox apps seems to fix it.  Have been a lot of XBox App updates lately as well and that probably has something to do with it.

Had 2 issues today.

1. The "Checking for updates" hang... synchronising the date and time from the Windows 11 Settings -> Time & Language -> Date & Time -> Additional Settings -> Sync Now fixed it.

2, An update to the XBOX App which sat at 0% progress for a good 5 mins or so before finally jumping to 100% complete. I should mention that the update manifested itself by the sim not responding when I tried to start it.

Been a frustrating couple of days.

You know, there may be a reason as to why we've been experiencing server issues. MS/Asobo might be doing upgrades and getting them ready for MSFS20204 launch, just a thought.

They currently have a MASSIVE user base relying 100% on their 2020 servers. The idea that any company other than "Fred In His Shed Inc." would take current servers offline to update rather than install NEW dedicated servers for what will be a hugely subscribed new sim is, well unbelievable.

As in I do NOT believe that could possibly be the cause.

It can ruin an otherwise nice flight, like in here with V1-Simulations - check around 1:26 onward...

After using msfs yesterday, tried restarting today with no system changes and stuck on checking for updates.  Restarted and rebooted 4 times and still stuck.  What on earth is wrong with asobo, microsoft and this damned sim?

All this after 3 or 4 days of server problems and loads of time wasting too.

Give it some time. I think the server needs to map your system again and check if updates are needed. In my case it also took some time, but eventually all continued.

I had to start MSFS four times this afternoon to finally get past the update screen.

And that's why I also have XP12 on my system. If one of my sims is having some kind of issue I can always switch to the other one.

Same here. Stucks at update screen. It went on to the menu but it took way longer than usual.

Not only that, I got heavy stutters on final today. I never had this issue in final SU15. Did anyone also experience this

I’ve received confirmation that the stutter and performance issues those of you are facing today are directly linked to this current Bing Data outage. We’re still working hard to get everything back up and running as soon as possible!

I Just read this on MSFS Forum, a thread from yesterday. Well, at least the stutters are not on my end.

This was also fixed yesterday so unless there is "another" Bing Data Outage today that issue was resolved

Have a Wonderful Day
