June 15, 20241 yr https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=76978We want to thank Microsoft and the flight sim community for making the Comanche 250 such a big success. It’s our first aircraft built with Accu-Sim 2.0 technology and now we’re using the same physics to develop an Aerostar 600. Like the Comanche, it’s an aircraft we've owned and operated for several years and it’s our passion at A2A to really bring this experience of aircraft ownership to life. A piston twin like the Aerostar feels radically different to fly compared to the Comanche, and our physics engine does a great job of recreating this ‘feel’. It will also allow you to hone your skills as a pilot in completely new ways. We hope to bring you the first Accu-Sim twin later in 2024! If you are visiting FS Expo this year, keep an eye out for A2A Simulations owner and founder, Scott Gentile, who will be attending. If you do see Scott on the Expo floor then please do say Hello! June 15, 20241 yr curious to see how they'll implement the unusual nose gear steering rocker switch...I assume the 600 has it if the 602 does, but I dunno... Edited June 15, 20241 yr by Sticky

The only reason I could think for this is that perhaps you haven't flown the Comanche or any of their add-ons from P3D? Black Square is great at what they do, but they don't model all aspects of the aircraft as deeply as they do the electrics and other "cockpit" systems. A2A hits everything deeply.
June 15, 20241 yr I remember after MSFS was released, A2A mentioned that they would consider developing for other sims. But if the Comanche sold as well as it did for MSFS (especially with the additional sales for XBox users), I think A2A will stick with MSFS in the foreseeable future. Good to see another A2A aircraft coming to MSFS, although I wished it was the Cessna 172. Edited June 15, 20241 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

June 15, 20241 yr I am happy to say that the model 600 was not turbocharged. The 601 was a turbo and it still holds the land closed speed record for a production piston twin (wikipedia). The 600 is plenty fast enough. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. June 15, 20241 yr Really looking forward to this...if I had to choose just one aircaft modelled by one company it would this combo!
June 16, 20241 yr I bought the comanche for msfs and that thing just lives and breathes. It's the only product that gives me the feeling I'm actually flying. The rest of the stuff feels like gaming tbh. I don't own many planes besides the default but all I can say is the a2a is a wonderful piece of software. A 172 steam gauge or c182 would he awesome. I bought the c172 for fsx back in the day and it rattled and squeaks like a true living little airplane. If a2a brings us their p3d fleet I'll probably buy them all.
June 16, 20241 yr Hmm, I'm probably on my own here, but I would have hoped for a C182 TBH. June 16, 20241 yr We have enough good Twins in MSFS! As an old fan of A2A from FSX to P3DV? I would prefer a 4-Engine Plane with character, the B-17. With 1.st officer assistance and a Radioman, that offer me 1943 Radio Stations 🙂 Achim

So hopefully it's the 182 ...i would also be happy with the 172 or Cherokee 180, to go with the Aerostar Edited June 16, 20241 yr by Naki18
