No its not. If you think it is show us, because i flew around grand canyon last night and looks the same as the YT videos.

 

At this stage of the hype train i reckon you could post up a picture of MSFS and tell people it was 24 and there would be a slew of comments saying 'can't wait for this to drop' 'best game evaaaaaaa'............'MSFS is dead to me now'...

Well I have to say that surprised me, it seems very generous of MS and is to be applauded I think.

There maybe a small fly in the ointment that perhaps the aircraft carried over from FS20 won’t have the updated functionality of the FS24 counterpart ? I guess we’ll see later.

It’s a great result for simmers though, with a great saving if you’re not after the new aircraft but would like to keep your 787 for example.

For transparency I’ve ordered the collector edition simply because I like the 747-400 and shiny metal cases😉

But if they go the same route as they did before, upgrading later will be more expensive than buying at release. I bought the Deluxe Edition for 110€ at release. The Premium Deluxe would have been 140€ if I remember correctly. The upgrade price has remained at 80€ since then. So that would have been 190€ instead of 140€.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but the FAQ page has been updated. As premium users of 2020, we will be able to use our airports and aircraft in MSFS 2024. Cheers!

So we each need to consider the worth of any additional aircraft supplied with prem deluxe 2024 over prem deluxe 2020.

At this point not sure what you're ranting about on multiple threads and why 🙂 .. you're upset that MSFS 2024 is being discussed a lot and/or praised? If that triggers you perhaps staying away from MSFS 2024 threads might be helpful. If you want to insist that 2024 is no different from 2020 then that's great, and once again thanks for repeatedly telling us this. Perhaps you are seeking validation for your decision to not move to 2024 for a while, so ya we get you, and more power to your courageous stance on this matter!

They didn’t announce the handcrafted-airports, right? I wonder which 10 handcrafted airports they’ve chosen for the new premium deluxe edition. The MSFS2020 premium deluxe edition also includes 10 additional airports - so perhaps they’re the same?  
 

If so, then there no need to buy the new premium deluxe edition, unless you’re interested in the new planes, right?

They are the same, yes.

I am uncertain if they are the updated versions, but they probably are.

The handcrafted airports are the same ones as v2020 in the higher tier editions, but further enhanced in v2024
 

ALERT!!!!!!

Please note that while the updated FAQ has confirmed that aircraft in our current Premium Deluxe versions will work in 2024, they will work AS THEY ARE. Purchasing each tier of the sim gives you access to upgraded versions of the current ones.

So if you're not interested in having a better version of your 787, Longitude etc. Go ahead and purchase the standard version, otherwise, you might want to get the higher tiers right off the bat to avoid paying an additional premium to upgrade later.
