Just a small cup of it in your computer room will do the trick and a box of matches if you want it really realistic.

*80s hippie voice* - flight sim is for the planes to get high, not living creations mannnnnnnnn.

But really, cuppa Jet-A in a computer room… don’t try it kids.

  • Ok then. .

  • I’m already pretty impressed.

I would be really impressed if my wife would say; Dear, I think you should replace your seven year old mid level system with an upgraded super PC of your choice. Price is no object.

I'd be satisfied with stuff like crossing the Poles not causing all sorts of quirks in the geo and flight models...

At the moment, there is the possibility of obtaining some of that immersion for different regions for an additional cost.

For example:

I wont be impressed until a native english speaker is capable of communicate in another language than english without doing spelling or pronounciation errors 😉 (I am aware that those mistakes in the title have nothing to do with being native or non-native english speaker, as it is simple grammar).

I won't be satisfied until we get bugs. Yes. Bugs. Bugs to splat all over the windshield and ray dome. Especially on low-flyers where the bugs thick and annoying.

I mean, come on Asobo!

Then you will have those who say the aircraft in MS2024 and the game will be too (buggy). Its going to happen.

"I won't be impressed with flight sim until ... " ... I see simmers stop writing what they want and how they want it. Remember, the devs cannot satisfy every single one of you. Adapt and re-adapt. 🙂

I won't be impressed with flight sim until ... the skies come alive with a realistic simulation of all kinds of birds, big and small. And I mean birds in flight, birds in trees, birds foraging on the ground. And bird strikes to aircraft.

FSX/P3D had birds a long long time ago … not sure about strikes as I never enabled crash detection and I’m not sure if the animated birds can be defined with crash boxes?  I assume you aren’t being serious, but bird strikes are a big issue for pilots.

they've added a ton of animals to 2024, including farm animals, and wild animals that migrate.

I don't know if birds are confirmed among those.

I won't be impressed until I can play as a bird, but in the meantime I'd settle for in game ATIS that reports the correct sky conditions, and dewpoint.

In over 40 years of airline experience flying around the world, I have had only 3 or 4 encounters of this nature. The next question is, what kind of damage are you looking for?
I think there are bigger issues we should take a look at. But for sure, it might be interesting.
