Fenix's 'problem' is not "there's just not enough people interested in 'all-singing all-dancing' airliners to sell them at a lower price". (which isn't that far away from PMDG or JF pricing). Rather, it's the time they have taken to release two revenue-generating products, resulting in higher costs and profit margin being squeezed. In the time Fenix released their two products, PMDG has released five (not including the DC-6) and JustFlight has released three airliners and four light GA products. Not forgetting, v2 of their A320 was free when many other devs would have charged for the re-write *and* the server bandwidth costs for thousands of full product downloads for the early patches, hotfixes and updates. Hopefully cost control is tighter for their next project. November 15, 20241 yr I am sure many people care. They might just not be vocal about it... Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers

That "malware incident" seems to have created a blind spot in the wing mirrors of some flightsim users. FSLabs have had an extended period of time to see what Fenix has delivered in MSFS. I would be astonished if that has not motivated them to both improve (and possibly expand) on that. November 15, 20241 yr Is that the same loose definition of "many care" as the "many people still using P3D" mentioned earlier in this thread?
November 15, 20241 yr Too bad it wasn’t an A321LR or I’d be all in. I can’t imagine what this one will do significantly different / better than the Fenix for me to shell out more money. November 16, 20241 yr Imo they are very late for joining the party. P3D-version was awesome but can they catch up with fenix, time will tell. As i have all fenix-variants already, fslabs sure has to have some magic trick to outperform fenix to convince me....maybe they will surprise us who knows.. November 16, 20241 yr You can say a lot of bad things about FSlabs as a company especially with the malware and lack of communication but the few real 320 pilots I know who are not youtubers/influencers still use p3d and FSlabs as their desktop simulator for their day to day.

I bought everything they produced for P3D except the Concorde, and it was my favorite airplane in P3D. I'll be frank - I don't care. I've moved on, it's been 4 years, and they haven't deigned to even offer previews in that time. Fenix has rightly eaten their lunch - time to go out of business or move on to a different market segment.
November 16, 20241 yr Commercial Member 😂 you know fine well you'll buy it if it turns out to be better than expected. Fenix has plenty of issues, let's be honest. It's good for sure but it's not perfect. Developer of Self-Loading Cargo - The Cabin Crew and Passenger Simulation Addon for MSFS, X-Plane, P3D and FSX
