November 20, 20241 yr Ok half a flight done in the default DA62 around Dubai, no buildings no trees etc. some AI aircraft and flat blurry photo ground textures. Have checked settings so scratching my head on as to why it’s looking so FS9. Changed time of day; lighting no better or worse that 2020 then sorted out some views, but lost functionality of TCA airbus quadrant ( which was working on takeoff). Sim crashed when I ended flight. Just loaded up the A321 and it’s floating in the air, no undercarriage and the apu hovering above the aircraft like we’ve lost gravity. I’ll be generous and say the control bindings are user error perhaps but the rest… Edited November 20, 20241 yr by flyingpicket
November 20, 20241 yr Squirell's stream in the UK still has that awful burnt grass in bing maps, utterly stupid and was one thing that could of pushed me towards 2024 if they got the grass green again. I'm literally watching people play a game that i already own and acting like its something new.... astounding cash grabbing by ASOBO here, even in this industry its impressive. I literally watch a stream then fly the same airport in 2020 and i can see no difference at all. Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX 2070 8GB / 2x8 RAM/
November 20, 20241 yr I am still yet to install this sim - I am thinking whether to just hold off installing for few days. I am more then happy to run MSFS 2020 for the time being.

Not a problem more most people sure but for those who live in remote regions and can't get fibre optic internet - it is going to be struggle.

I literally watch a stream then fly the same airport in 2020 and i can see no difference at all. The way I see it, I've invested in four years of free updates by which time 2024 will be far superior to 2020. FSX had two service packs to fix technical issues and that was it. 2020 had 18 world updates. 9 city updates, continual improvements to avionics, default aircraft, etc. FS2024 • PMDG 738, 77F • FSL A321 • A2A Comanche, Aerostar • BS Baron, Bonanza, Caravan Pro • JF Tomahawk • TAOG H500C BeyondATC • GSX Pro • ChasePlane & Flow Pro • TDS GTNXi • FSUIPC • AutoFPS • RealTurb 9800X3D B650E • ROG OC RTX 5090 • 64GB DDR5-6000 • VKB Gladiator, STECS, T-Rudder • Tobii 5 • ISP 1 Gbps
November 20, 20241 yr fsx was an offline game largely because of old legacy tradition. Modern cloud based information era destroys the experience because every aspect is tangled off base at servers abroad. We will all see MinecraftSimulator2024 because of this. Furthermore, this release will possibly destroy 2020 experience as well. I noticed all of the above in alpha. It is just about identical in the release, except the ATC has improved over the alpha. the ATC is still primitive and unrealistic but better than the alpha. the pilots and copilot avatars are better. if you fly airliners none of this is earth shaking. it is for GA fliers like me. It is if you fly your airliners close to the ground Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

In the past I got refunded for several games and repurchased some afterwards. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024

I remember when refunds were first implemented, that was the stipulation in place. I guess they've changed it since then. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
