November 26, 20241 yr I thought I might be going back to MSFS2020 for flights as I wait for a few needed utility addons to be made for 2024, and theres no reason for me not to start MSFS2020 up and fly, but I really am enjoying MSFS2024 too much to do so. Its got me rethinking how I use the sim in general. Now that theres good (not perfect) ATC with SI and the world looks so much better, I keep thinking a world tour might actual happen and get out of just the few regions I normal fly in. Prior, a world tour would be just seeing a bunch of repeat landclass textures. Not the case anymore. I did a quick flight low along the shoreline this morning and the details of the dunes, bluffs and shoreline where high tide has eroded on the higher elevations is so realistic. There is so much to see out there now and the planes handled so much closer to realistic as well. But, again I wonder if as in times past different systems, with different applications running in the background (not related to simming), ip network differences, etc. Are the cause and therefore it is hard to pin down. I can see how it’s frustrating, and me being one of the lucky ones is not due to anything other than luck, don’t want to diminish what others are experiencing. But, it’s not a global phenomenon - and to speak as if it is - is disingenuous.
November 26, 20241 yr They owe everyone a massive apology once they finish ironing out the launch server problems and weird bugs, but I've never had any doubt it'd be a great platform once they did.

I have been paying attention thanks but it doesn't help me now does it? AT the moment I have multiple airports in one spot.

Because capacity is limited. It feels like it's a first come first served basis. I could hardly get on last week but had a more stable experience over the weekend in patches. Now back in the working week im having issues again. Its not fit for purpose period.

High Altitude, low altitude this sim just amazes me. No need need to upgrade my hardware, it runs better than FS2020 does. Approach's and finals are just breathtaking, the most immersive experience I've ever had in a flight sim bar none. Hats off to everyone involved in the project and to all the third party developers who make this hobby such a joy. Glad that you are enjoying 2024. If I could ask. how did you bind your bravo for Fenix? I am having a really difficult time. I have the throttle axis's bound but my bindings for reversers are not showing up in game play after spending many hours trying to figure it out. I've been simming since FS98 (tells my age) and 2024 is just messing with me for the controller settings. Thanks to help from others on here I was able to bind the C172 to at least take a look around but the airliners are giving me issues. Thanks in advance.
November 27, 20241 yr Been running amazing since day 2/3. Yes the bugs are there, but the sim is still an amazing experience, nothing comes close to it. Yes, some people/regions are still having server issues and they need to fix it. But if you don’t have server issues, it’s amazing. And I’m sure they will fix server issues by and by, already most people seem to be able to play with no issue (well, besides the various bugs in the game, but most of the time that doesn’t prevent you from having a blast) 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Hi I use Spad Next which just seems to work flawlessly with FS2024. I've been using Spad for over ten years now I believe, needed it to get my Saitek hardware running at the time. It's been one of the best FS purchases I have ever made. I highly recommend it. Floyd Stolle www.stollco.com

Thank you for the response. I just looked at Spad and have say that it looks a bit too daunting to me. I believe that MSFS should have a system that works out the box for controllers. I mean, the bravo TQ has been out for years. Again, thank you for the suggestion
