I think as a quality of life compromise.  In addition to the split frequencies mentioned, the reality is that real world ATC comms happen quicker and usually shorter than in BATC so something has to give.

Doesn’t have to be absolute priority, but maybe there should be a mechanism to ensure you can get a word in edgewise.  If it’s one of the things preventing full traffic levels it should be addressed somehow.

In the end "scripted" ATC like FSHud and Beyond ATC are a dead end.

Because they are just little notes on a wall, if A happens then B or C. 
There is nothing in between and if something happens outside of the script then it all stops working and can not solve it anymore because it is not programmed.

The real future for offline ATC is AI, because it responds to any situation.

Yes, but it does not get lost like scripted ATC, like stops working. It is much smarter.

And it is just the beginning of AI, there is no future for scripted ATC. I don't want to be rude but if you are looking honestly at it then scripted ATC will be something of the past. Because who still wants to develop a scripted program with all of the modern solutions?

And in a year AI probably will be twice as smart as it already is.....

Does anyone know how to hide MSFS 2024 default AI traffic?  I have FSLTL and default overlapping at gates and parking spots... so like double AI is hurting fps.

Traffic Airport Quality and Air Traffic both set to off. They are located under General/Global Rendering Quality. Those are the only settings available in the patch 3 UI.

This thread is about BATC and MSFS 2024. You should probably start a new thread. You can consult this MSFS help page to troubleshoot connectivity issues, because the source of the problem is quite variable:

Which actual existing product can I buy right now that will do better for most use cases than FShud and BATC?

Best bet  to post  your  issue at  their  discord  you will get  a  answer most likely  within  2  to  5  minutes   that  what  i have  experience when i had  a issue with batc, or you might  find  a similar   issue on  the  discord

I think I got an answer. I have to have the plane loaded. I was on the main menu.
