December 12, 20241 yr Has anyone tried taxi/take-off ops in either NZQN or EKVG? It would be interesting to see BATC intelligence for those two extreme examples 🙂 Edited December 12, 20241 yr by G-YMML1 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

I flew into and out of NZQN a few weeks ago and didn't have any issues, BATC had me just follow the RNAV procedures and cleared me fine and away from terrain.
December 12, 20241 yr Thanks for the input on traffic levels. It sounds like BATC needs to give the user some kind of priority in having comms go through. Looking forward to giving this a shot tonight! I've read that porting the FS 2020 install works, but I don't have FS 2020. Might also try it with FSLTL, but I've read it is more problematic as of now in FS 2024 (?) They are both problematic at the moment. AIG does not support FW 2024 at this point and it lacking all animations. So no landing gear on the ground at all.
December 12, 20241 yr FSLTL has served me well since its inception but I'm finding the world in which I sim in to be quite boring. I don't have the settings ramped up or anything but I should still see some limited action. I never see any landings and I'm lucky if I see 2 planes taxiing at any given airport. Having read the release notes for the injector with this app I'm tempted to give it a go. December 12, 20241 yr I'm so excited to try it out when I get home tonight. Just to be clear...All I need to have is the FSLTL base models installed, correct? There is no longer any need to run the injector while in sim?

An example is when you are climbing to an intermitent flightlevel you have been cleared to, switch center and announce yourself, and then ATC is busy talking to other aircraft first until you are leveled off. I think as soon as you are within 2000feet of your target altitude, barring any traffic that is in the way, you should get priority. All that being said, I'm pretty happy with it so far. If you have many AIG flightplans installed like I do, you get to hear exotic callsigns you have never heard before. Like LuxRescue. It's awesome. 7 minutes ago, FakeWayne said: Just to be clear...All I need to have is the FSLTL base models installed, correct? There is no longer any need to run the injector while in sim? Exactly. Some people also report that AIG is easier on the FPS as FSLTL uses higher resolution textures which, arguably, are a bit unnecessary for AI traffic. 6 minutes ago, Farlis said: Depends. They've recently started to implement split frequencies but only 25 or so airports have it. This will help around busy airports as there will be less congestion from arrivals and departures talking on the same frequency etc. I don't expect priority, after all I want to feel like I'm part of the whole sky, but there may be some innovative solutions to speed up responses. Your example is a good one, it's not ideal when you just switch frequency, check in and then have to listen to 3 other aircraft first before getting a response. Not sure if there is any way to provide a slider that speeds up speech a tiny bit to make comms more efficient. Overall I find the speed of speech quite good but in busy airspace like EGLL or KJFK the controllers have a way of talking faster than BATC does today... I also really hope they will implement CPDLC at some point, that would also help to reduce comms and be a cool feature. Edited December 12, 20241 yr by Speedbird 217

Thought it was odd last night given Visual 7R into PANC, but when vectored onto the approach it said to capture the localiser.... wasn't an issue since I had the ILS loaded, but seemed off.
