You never meant to denigrate anyone and are a polite person in real life. I accept that. I’m terribly sorry. Thank you. Have a great new year and enjoy your sim.

December 27, 20241 yr That was a good video from someone who was at the Spoils Conference, err Grand Canyon event.
December 27, 20241 yr I’ve not flown in 2020 since I installed 2024, even though I had day 1 issues. Maybe if I’d used it everyday then I would have been tempted to retreat to the relative safety of 2020, but as the days passed between flights things gradually improved and I’m now having some great experiences in 2024. for me the ground details alone (I fly mostly GA) is reason enough not to go back to 2020. Yes 2024 has many issues, and I’m sure more will be introduced when other features are switched on - but it’s 24 for me now. as a safety net 2020 hasn’t been uninstalled. Which aircraft are you flying ? Is it a default or payware aircraft? Are your PC Specs performance wise just as good in MSFS 2024 as in the older 2020? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
December 27, 20241 yr This is why I cannot go back to 2020. Life like lighting, smooth performance, amazing weather, much better flight model and far more convincing ground scenery (aside from the trees being too high). 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
December 27, 20241 yr Purchased 2024 at around 11am this morning, and by 3pm I requested a refund. 2024 could be the thing in a few years, I don’t see it now.

Turns out nothing but praises coming from only one segment of the FS market, the 2D one panel crowd (which is not good).🤔 Those using VR, alternative devices, multiple screens, and XBOX in some cases it's a whole other story with 2024. What story, your story? VR in 2024 runs much better for me. Sure there are bugs, but worked around all of them and there where bugs in 2020 VR too, so nothing new there… As I never was privilieged enough to run TAA in 2020, it doesnt bother me that it runs worse in 2024… Got used to DLSS a long time ago:). So my story is, VR is fine in 2024…Not letting a few issues keep me in the past:p
