Things are bit better after the latest patch - however my photogrammetry trees continue to look very blocky from the runways (other textures look much better).   Am I missing something to make the photogrammetry trees not look so horrible?

No, they have always looked like that in 2020 and now 2024.  I prefer photogrammetry off with Bijans trees.

  • My performance has definitely improved with this patch.  FPS are higher at complex airports and much smoother, even at airports where I wasn’t having the massive stutter issue.

Anyone else getting significantly less frames, say 20% or more?  Stutters are 97% gone but frames are reduced, at least for me.

Downloading now. 2.1 gigs. Download went lightning fast.

Mine was only 564MB on Steam, odd (Aviator edition).

Definite improvement in FPS. Using the Fenix at FlyTampa CYYZ 4K Ultra everything (traffic etc) maxed out - am gettting a smooth 42-45 fps without framegen, and 80-90 fps with framegen (TAA, not DLSS). This is great.

That's good news! No more RAM 42GB in use then 🥳

7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Took a month, but finally I'm having a full flight EDDF/LIMC with stable framerate!

GPU mem is 15.9 out of 20gb, ram 22.1 out of 32, live weather, traffic, with the c414. Seems reasonable.

mine too, premium deluxe version.

Finished first flight with latest update - no issues. Aerosoft's ENVA to ENGM, Fenix A321, Active Sky historical weather, FSHud ATC, AIG models. Great performance - although total system RAM in use was 41.6GB on approach to ENGM. I guess the sim will use as much RAM as it needs

As an added treat: @Reset XPDR got AutoFPS working with the latest sim update while I was doing the flight 🥳

....I guess it all depends on the definition of mostly fixed.....😀

some people are reporting getting white screens on some of the ini aircraft on the iniDiscord, but I've had no issues so far

Same reaction here.. Nice, smooth flight, including payware CYYJ landing.

I didn't really notice anything different while flying, wasn't having issues before the update. They did not, however, fix the hanging on loading language at 6% when starting the game, still 7.5 minutes to get to the main menu. I ended up disabling Nvidia's locked frames to get it to play nice and load in under 2 minutes, but I shouldn't have to. They created the issue with the previous update. Sad face...

7.5 minutes

That’s odd.

I only have 7 payware airports in my Community folder, Flysimware Learjet, Carenado PA28, and three small mods for taxi ribbon, no blue highlight and simrate function and I am at the accessibility screen in just under 3 minutes.

It is odd. My community folder was empty at the time when it first happened, and I now only have the A2A Comanche there. It was logged as a bug on the MSFS Forums, with lots of people experiencing the same or worse, but nothing was done about it. I'll just have to disable the Nvidia frames lock and use the sim's Vsync, though that costs me 10% fps.
