Same here , looking forward to this. I have paid for the EFIS Combo about middle December and hopefully it will arrive in January. Since my VrInsight FMC died i have being using tablets but its not the same.

because spad supports win wing products provided that SimAppPro is not running and it is toggled on in spad.  Again I can't say for sure on these MCDU's yet.  But everything I read it appears it will in fact work.

Although it is a bit of a clunky bit of software, my experience has been as long as SimAppPro is running in the background then everything works as it should with all the Airbus' - Fenix, IniBuilds etc.

I run numerous other pieces of hardware that I have programmed with Spad.  I don't want another program running if it can be avoided.  

Does spad next prevent the issue of MSFS losing all of my controller assignments randomly? I.e can I set sensitivities, buttons, axis assignments etc with that?  
 

on topic I’ve got a close eye on the MCDU, just ordered the FCU and Efis!

I'd be curious if any sort of customization is possible with MobiFlight or Spad. I fly the Airbus and the 737 a decent amount, but flying the MD80 more than both - it'd be nice to have a profile even if it looks goofy that gets the job done.

I do that stuff all the time with spad. I’m pretty certain it would work just fine. I have skalarki stuff, cockpit master cdu and various other things all set up with spad profiles so I can use with multiple aircraft. 

I have their FCU and EFIS combo.

 

For the price point I'd rate it a 10+/10

 

I'll be jumping on their MCD's and CDU's

yes!  If you unbind everything in the simulator and use only spad, you have zero reliance on msfs control assignments.  Plus you have backups on your own machine.  

anyone know if the 737 CDU is for the early NG's (like the PMDG) or for the later NG/MAX. They're different.

Been struggling with this problem for years now I have quest 3 vr headset had the others headsets love vr but i tend to get motion sickness fast and it hurts my eyes after while even with breaks but then I love the feeling of holding and rotating those dial's i think it it comes down to the space in your home and maybe if you change aircraft a lot honestly I have both for now hope you can find the right spot.

This appeals to me. And not just buttons but axis and sensitivity etc too?

Yes, also AAO does this as well. I have all my control assigned through AAO. Once you get a nice base profile you can then copy that and add airplane specific controls, assignments and button pushes to each plane you want. Lock for the Lorby forum down below here at Avsim. Anybody heard any word on when their 737 FCU that was previewed at FS EXPO is due to be released? I thought they said in 2024 but maybe I'm getting mixed up with the A320 EFIS.

 

I've got the EFIS and Airbus FCU which is fantastic and as @micstatic has alluded to, using it with SPAD and not the SimAppPro application means it can be used with a variety of difference aircraft.

My main thing is that I decided it was cheaper and easier to go VR while also having the advantage of having realistic cockpit views. Unfortunately the equation has changed now that my great old Reverb G2 is about to get arbitrarily killed by Windows 10 sunsetting. I got a Pimax Crystal Light which quickly showed me my 3070Ti just doesn't cut it anymore, but prices on top-tier 4x and 5x cards are, frankly, absurd. 4090s are going for about what I paid for my first car and indications are the 5 series is going to be even worse even before any potential tariffs get imposed. It's a ridiculous cash grab, and I keep hoping AMD will come through with some real competition but so far that hasn't materialized.
