What a lot of forests on the coast of California I never imagined it was such a green area.

Always remember, what you see in a video has been captured by a screen recording program. Pauses, stutters, microstutters …. whatever you want to label them as can be exaggerated by the recording software. Computer specs will play into the equation.

In relation to the topic, one just has to land and get out to readily notice the significant improvement in scenery detail of 2024 over 2020.

Theres a lot of stuttering and low FPS here.

Sure, but don't we all stutter when in awe by the environment?

I did not check the video, but the only time I use 2024 is to fly GA up the coast of CA

Its visually amazing.

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

Plenty of long sandy beaches to land on too.

It looks great, but a lot of stuttering as well.

But the stutters are free...😉

Very impressive video. I recently bought MSFS2024 but with the festive season upon us, I've had little time to even set it up. I know what I'll be doing through cold and dark January. 😉

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

That's freaking amazing!  I'm going to be duly blown away yet again when I finally install 2024!  Even if this is only in spots on our planet it points to what can be done with this engine and that is fabulous!

I say give it a try after Sim Update 1 has been released. If you don't mind a few bugs, Free Flight in MSFS 2024 is pretty good now - if the plane you are using in Free Flight in MSFS 2024 is compatible and well done, I think you can enjoy Free Flight right now in MSFS 2024.  A lot of people are enjoying the Fenix and I am personally enjoying the default Cessna 172 G1000 in Free Flight in MSFS 2024.

Now if your plane is buggy, then Free Flight will be a bad experience for you. For example, the PC-24 had quite a few bugs.  So Free Flight is dependent upon your plane.

Career Mode has a lot of bugs though, so that needs to be ironed out. Just stay away from Career Mode if you aren't bug tolerant.

I may well thanks.  I'm in a giant...no hurry!  I have so much enjoyment in 2020 believe it or not I don't want to sacrifice sim time in it quite yet!  Anyway something really sweet to look forward to and yes after SU1 may well find that the right time to jump in.  Has there been an announcement on SU1 release?

I wonder what will come first, SU1 for 2024 or SU16 for 2020.
