January 2, 20251 yr Nonsensical and childish rebuttals aside re pro/con 2020/2024 (sadly continued in this thread) that short flight is a visual feast. I was late (by two years) coming to MSFS2020 (no regrets) and I will probably be two years late going to 2024 and am certain I will have no regrets either for waiting until the platform matures and evolves. January 2, 20251 yr Living in California, I am aware of how wonderful it is to just drive a car up or down the coast highway which runs from San Diego (near Mexico) to Oregon. It's a scenic wonderland most of the way. It continues northward from there, but those other States can't compete with MY State. There are lots and lots of isolated beaches all along the way. They aren't famous like the L.A. beaches (Annette Funicello beach movies) because they are cold, not warm. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. And for the MSFS 2020 crowd who claim the graphics of MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 are the same, this video is another example of the huge differences between MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. Without custom scenery, what you see in that video is not possible in MSFS 2020. That's awesome video. I flew the Califoria coastline yesterday around sun set. The scenery was jaw dropping fly from Santa Barbera up to Monterey, CA. No way could I reproduce that ride in 2020. January 2, 20251 yr I just flew up the Big Sur Coastline in CA, and it did not look as good as that video. Problem is, you have to fly supper slow and low. Second, the coastline is ruined by so many trees on the water edge and on the rugged cliffs and rocks. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RTX 4080S, Ram - 32GB, 32" 4K Monitor, WIN 11. Eric Escobar
