For people without the option to override super resolution, how does the visual quality compare to last week’s 3.10.1 with preset J in 2024?

Regarding OP first post, is the NVIDIA app fallen out of favor since yesterday? I was going to just the app to install into MS2020.

I see no difference with this new driver and presets none - my sim runs smooth I just have to make sure my refresh rate in sim on my OLED is at a good setting using Autofps - I use 1/2 monitor refresh rate - VSYNC ON in sim and get continuous 60 to 75 fps depending on my Autofps settings

I can get over 120fps np with DLSS but TAA is my go to looks a bit better with out all of this DLSS hassle

that thread has all the info incl. detailed youtube instructions from IslandSim. that's what most of us have followed, with success. if that 21 pages thread is not helpful, I can't help.

Cheers, as long as there’s no downgrade to the manual hack from last week I won’t stress too much about not having no super resolution yet.

I've got a weird issue where I can't start a flight from the main menu if DLSS is selected. I can start with TAA, THEN once the flight is started, I can select DLSS. If it's left in DLSS, the game just hangs in the world map after pressing FLY. MSFS 2024 Btw.

It's really not, and highly annoying when someone links a 21 page thread to sift through. Here are the instructions

glad you are taking over. "someone" spent the last 3 days in this forum helping out with DLSS4, repeating same things over and over.

Me too - all greyed out....tried everything but they stayed grey for me.    Just used DLSS Swapper for now.

In some cases they cannot be changed with the nVidia app, but if you change those settings with nVidia profile inspector, they will stay greyed out AND in the correct position. Check it out:

Please tell me the detailed instructions on how to get ANY TEXT, not just this text on the bottom of the msfs2024 screen:

There was an answer to this question above, but it was just a link to a very long thread.

Question 2: How would I turn off this text from displaying?

So after all that help, posting a link must have been too arduous a task. We are forever in your gratitude and would certainly be lost without your invaluable postings.

OK, I figured out that I need to change make a registry key and put the decimal value to 1024.

Followed all the instructions, but I'm seeing DLSS V3 as well as preset J.

DLSS-Version.png

DLSS V310.2.1 is in fact DLSS4. As for the preset, yes you're still on J not K.

^ The image is for msfs2024. The place where I see the improvement with new files the most is in VR. (I use Pimax Crystal Light). I guess because it starts out with lower fps in VR, so improvements show up better.
