Jorg mentioned something interesting right at the start. He was referring to the "launch with ten thousand bugs" of MSFS 2024, and he stated that they would not make the same mistake next time. Maybe those bean counters have been put in their place at last?

Something he shares with many thousands of other simmers....

I have been looking at Run8 Trainsim again, I ran it a few years ago when I took a break from flight sims. The only drag is I would have to buy another Raildriver, because I threw mine out at the time.

Been there, done that, in 2007 when I restarted flying gliders in competition after a long hiatus... I gave my controllers to two friends and just didn't give away the PC because I needed it for work 🙂

In 2011, by the hand of MS FLIGHT, I returned :-)

You’re a passionate man, Jose, the Fernando Pessoa of flight simulation and high-grade optics.

Ah! you got it more in the mouche than many people who know me for ages, at least in as far as my literary passion for Fernando Pessoa goes 🙂

Sorry for the HUGE out of focus with the OP diversion here 😇

Did they said anything about sea traffic?

No he tenido ningún accidente en un par de meses. Qué extraño.

The strange thing is that even if you recognize it even if you suffer it, surely Asobo is going to dedicate two SU to correcting errors because they are bored and have no other better things to do.

I don't doubt it and they have a pretty good reputation, but the state they delivered the MAX at release made me scratch my head, not a little but a lot.

Correct me if I’m wrong but did WT make the max or was that Asobo?

from my understanding WT makes systems, not actual planes. It’s why the CJ4, longitude or 787 never really saw upgrades to its visual fidelity but its actual systems fidelity has been extensively upgraded. Same goes for the garmin avionics package.

So with that in mind, I’m quite optimistic for WT will do with ATC, assuming I’m right about the Max.

All i want to know is how fast they can stabilize this mess? My gut says late 2025 or early 2026. Everything else is just blah blah blah. On a more upbeat note, 2020 is running great with DLSS4. Never better. At least it was yesterday.

Download SU1 beta to see it has happened already.

Descargue la versión beta de SU1 para ver lo que ya sucedió.

I personally suffer CDTs with the beta, as it is a beta I am not worried but you have to be careful with what is recommended, before the beta I did not have any problems.

Quite, but everyone needs a balanced view because it is not doom and gloom for everybody.

Yes, plenty of bugs since release but that does not take away the positives 2024 has brought to Flight Sim.

I think WT worked on the 737 Max avionics?  I think Matt Nischan was answering some questions about the 737 Max, and the takeaway I got from his answers was that Working Title worked on the avionics for the Asobo 737 Max. They also worked on the avionics and systems of the 787, so Jorg putting WT in charge of the 737 Max avionics would make sense to me.

For the rest of the plane, my guess is, it was done by Asobo? Matt once said WT doesn't have any 3D modelers so they can't change the 3D model of the 787 in MSFS 2020. So I assume WT didn't do the 3D model for the Asobo 737 Max.  Would be nice to know what WT worked on and what they didn't work on for the 737 Max.
