March 6, 20251 yr I just loaded the Inibuilds A350 at Inibuilds EGLL - no problem ... Obviously, since this was the first time loading the A350 in MSFS 2024 the WASM compilation took a few additional minutes. The first run compilation of a plane like the iniBuilds A350 may take 10 to 15 minutes to compile and you have to wait for the compilation to finish before the free flighf will start. March 6, 20251 yr To me it looks the same. Same issues, same UI, same old same old. I love having 1700fps in the loading screens. See you in 6 months. March 6, 20251 yr Download in MS Store (🤮) was quick, loaded into the Sim just fine, exited and did a full PC reboot. Loaded back in swiftly enough, but immediately upon starting a flight was greeted with the same poor performance as pre-SU1 update, (early Beta reports sounded promising in this area but they gradually declined as the Beta went on regarding performance feedback), getting up in the air and no change, simply poor performance on settings much lower than vanilla 2020. Roll on SU2 Beta, think I'll give it another crack when that comes out with the aforementioned VR fixes, until then MSFS24 is still a frustrating mess for me so it's resigned to gather virtual dust for now on the Games Shelf. March 6, 20251 yr I really, really wish they would revisit the LOD behavior. I hate to see a/c floating without landing gears in close distance. It is even worse when you see one in 100ft distance with landing gears and the one next to it without. Too bad. It seems to be even worse than in MSFS 2020. Just landed at KCGN (default) ... it looks terrible with these aggressive (internal) LOD settings. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
March 6, 20251 yr With frame gen and gsync on a 144Hz gsync monitor, my performance has not dipped below 144Hz reported by the monitor's own hardware. Flight is EGLL (inibuilds) to LFMN in the Fenix with full ultra and FSTDL traffic. Turned off the "adaptive" thing. This is with framegen on, ofc. So far, seems impressive.
