Winwing Announcement Cool

Featured Replies

Those winwing guys must really hate US dollars as they seem determined to ask for  the lowest amount of USDs possible for their products.

Yea, I pre-ordered the 777 FMC on opening day back on January 17th, still waiting and have heard nothing. They are great at announcing things, but everything sits on "pre-order" for months and months. Their website speed is like it's run on a server from 1995.

Yes, ordering on their site it's a pain on launch day but, I ordered the MCDU on release day (Jan 17) and I got it in exactly 11 days.

I think the main issue is with orders shipping to regions like US, EU, UK, etc where they have a central warehouse and ship there first, then there's a second shipping to individual users.

Since we in Switzerland are not in the EU or in any other region of the ones they list in the site (EU, US, UK, Australia, Canada, JP), we must use the "Global shipping" option, meaning they Fedex directly from China to here, so it's fairly quick.

Didn't they announce a 737 MCP at FSExpo last year? Where's that at?

They talked about it in the video and gave more details about it.

I hope those guys sell a lot. I plan on purchasing some of those items.

Did you order from their Global outlet or your regional outlet? I ordered the EFIS Combo through my regional outlet and there was no indication of when it would be delivered. I cancelled the order (which was trouble-free) and reordered via their Gobal outlet and had it within 2 weeks.

Only thing was the Global purchase incurred international shipping costs which were a bit steep.

I ordered their MCDU and 737 FMC on the first day from global site and have both already. It's the 777 one I pre-ordered from their global site as well back on January 17th and it's been 58 days now and order status still says "pre-order". They have zero news to provide on it either.

Maybe they are not as greedy as US companies who fabricate their products at the same price as Winwing does but then rip off their costumers with their ridiculous prices.

The MCDU definitely came from China for me, but back when the FCU was just opened for pre-orders, it charged my credit card and the package shipped from West Covina, CA within a few days, so this seems correct.

Well it certainly helps them being a Chinese company, in China… Costs are way lower, especially with those new tariffs now..
