Yeah, he (she/they) are just tiring. Put em on your ignore list and move on.. they are really weird and combative and such people cannot be reasoned with.

  • I suspect this is going to shatter all past Toliss sales.  Happy for us and for them.  Looking forward to the plane.

  • Their systems are about as deep as you'll see in desktop flight simulation.  Airbus is actually a commercial customer of Toliss and no, I didn't write that the wrong way around.

Look, I have no personal beef with you, but coming into these forums, insulting a frequent member by saying they sound like an AI and putting words into their mouth, and then virtue signaling about trolling is not a good look.

I would continue, but frankly I don't care and there have been enough valid topics that have gotten locked due to derailments like the one you started in this thread. Perhaps you should consider how your written words are perceived by others in a medium that can't easily portray lighthearted sarcasm or the intent behind a message, and then ask yourself what you are accomplishing by posting these types of messages.

Have a good day/morning/evening and hopefully you can enjoy some flying.

I appreciate the post, but there’s history with the frequent member to whom you are referring. He also has a “NoXP” tag on his name, meaning he’s not permitted to see or post in the x-plane forums due to posts he’s made there in the past.  You can see the tag when clicking on his profile. With all due respect, It’s not something I’m willing to get into here.

It's really smart of them to enter the market for MSFS, I wish them the best of luck!

I see what you did there 😀

Yeah, it only makes sense for people that run businesses to focus on growing it. Toliss isn't weird about XP the way some other devs are lol.

Indeed, the weirdness and insecurity of these other devs is ultra palpable 🙂

But he's never been caught blatantly lying to make his sim of choice look good. It must feel humiliating but clearly not enough since you're still willing to come on this side and insult people.

On topic, it's nice to see that Toliss will be getting hands-on with the 2024 SDK and this is actually being built from the ground up for the sim.

If you are going to accuse me of the (NoXP) tag to try to make it look like I am guilty, then I will get into it and give people more details.  GoranM, I have tried to avoid you in this thread, but since you are bringing me up, I have no choice but to defend myself.  And if this gets messy because of this, then you should have not brought me up in the first place.  And for the mods that are watching, I didn't even really respond directly to GoranM when he made the "ChatGPT" insult to me (albeit, I responded indirectly by my response to @lwt1971, but I pretty much let GoranM get away with that insult, to avoid blowing this thread up), but it's absurd to have a one sided picture painted of me, so I will respond now.

How I got the (NoXP) is similar to your last interaction with me here recently.  You can see in this interaction, that GoranM accused me, without evidence, that I think Toliss will abandon XP.  In fact, I said the exact opposite, later in the thread, when GoranM was absent from from it.

How I got the (NoXP) and the temporary ban from Avsim, was that GoranM made a similar accusation against me, that I had told people in the past to leave and uninstall XP.  Now if my memory is right, it was actually in a thread that started here in the MSFS forum, and was subsequently moved to the Hangar forum.  It wasn't even a thread that started in the XP forum.  I have never said such a thing before on Avsim, to tell people to leave and uninstall XP, as I respect the choice of people to choose whatever flight simulator they prefer.  I asked GoranM to provide evidence that I ever said such a thing.  GoranM could not provide evidence, in which case I got straight to the point and I called GoranM some nasty words.  The irony is, I don't regret those choice of words I used as GoranM never provided evidence I said what he claimed I said.  Furthermore, GoranM has repeated his behavior, including trying to convince people real life photos of clouds, are XP 12 photos of clouds, so in hindsight, the choice of words I used were accurate.

Since my original ban from my interaction with GoranM, GoranM has derailed and gotten many threads locked here in the MSFS forum. I am still not sure why GoranM is allowed to post in the MSFS forum, given the amount of threads he has engaged in that got locked, but I guess it is what it is.  And while we are on the topic of my (NoXP) tag, I can tell everyone here, that I don't even recall the number of threads I have gotten locked in the XP forum - if I even got any threads locked there at all - if I did get any threads locked at all, it's certainly countable with a few fingers (if I got any threads locked at all in the XP forum, it would be be one or two threads at most, but honestly, I can't even remember even that).  Without a doubt, GoranM has gotten way more threads here in the MSFS forum locked, than I have ever gotten in the XP forum.

I wholeheartedly agree.  Apart from the FBW A380, the A340-600 is the most welcome Airbus development yet for MSFS. Can we please keep this on topic - just for once ?

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

No, you also have a choice to put Goran on your ignore list and never see a single of his posts ever again.

Something I would also suggest Goran do with you.

Open up the user control panel by clicking on your name on the top right corner of the site and select "Ignored Users" and then you can enter each other's name there and the rest of us can live in peace from your little personal vendetta.

To be honest I would expect or wish you (as a professional developer) would focus  more on your XP products (A220) for your customers than hanging around the MSFS forum. Maybe perhaps? You are not going to win over these folks here.

Well, I just arrived back home after the expo, which included a 2 week trip around the US. But you’re right. On to more important tasks.

By no means there was no or any pun intended.

I’m all for retro flights, and if in this case the retro aircraft is a highly automated Airbus that has four engines I’m definitely in!

I’ve always loved the look of the A340-600, looks a big gangly because it’s so long. Very unique and I hope this project turns out well.

No pun taken, whatsoever.  You're absolutely right.

I need to get my priorities in order, now that I'm back home and settled in.

And your priority should be a Saab for MS2024. Do I have to go down on one knee? 😀

I can imagine the title of the thread and the reaction it would get.  (Likely not favorable).
