September 19, 2025Sep 19 @micstatic Another preliminary test with the maddog. So this time around with simbrief import, no WASM crash and GSX was able to start refueling the aircraft as per normal. Immersive Audio sounds was still working A-okay. So all good on that front However, the electronic flight log was not pulling my aircraft log details and in turn my aircraft state was not loaded. The load manager (The external app) did recognise my aircraft and correctly showed my hours but not the EFB. I don't ever use the load manager for an actual flight though. I'll tinker around a little more in that area cause I do enjoy state saving. Jetways still don't work but that's already been often reported. So all around, I would say you can now do a full flight (Though I haven't done one yet) with the maddog.

So apparently not every WASM aircraft are no-go Edited September 19, 2025Sep 19 by Tuskin38

I have an empty Community Folder and repaired all files via Steam. Then I left the Beta, rebooted, and SU3 works fine. Then download Beta again, rebooted and then launched the sim and error comes back. Anyone else experienced this yet and figured out a solution? I've tried every suggestion found in the Zen Desk with no luck. I get the 1047 error in almost every flight session (1.6.7.0) Sometimes I can click on OK and the session ends with a CTD. Other times I click on OK and the session resumes and runs perfectly. Several times the message locks the screen and makes the mouse disappear. I have had sessions where the error occurs every couple minutes for an hour or so and then just stops appearing. The Official MS forum has lots of comments but no solutions. I've found complaints about the 1047 error on other gaming forums going back at least 4-years. I guess this is a known problem with no user solution. September 22, 2025Sep 22 Well, unlike the long 10 year interregnum of FSX, updates to the the MSFS 2020/2024 family come fast and heavy. Flybywire updates, Navigraph updates, Fshud updates..... And who knows what else? Perhaps one of those will do the trick for whatever ails people. Edited September 22, 2025Sep 22 by HiFlyer We are all connected..... To each other, biologically......
