Hello @PlumCrazy, The 1.6.21.0 build with this bug was never released to general availability (a.k.a. GA, the final SU4 release build). The bug was part of a pre-release test for which everyone has to manually choose to opt-in with the foreknowledge that these work-in-progress test builds are not final and will contain unresolved bugs and other issues. It wasn't released to the general public.. it was released as part of an interim beta build to those who opt in to the beta, based on a snapshot-in-time of beta code, beta code that they've clearly warned users will likely have bugs in interim builds (though many here seem to treat beta builds as early access releases or stable releases). Depending on the nature of the code and their software release engineering and build process, this behaviour meant only for a specific flight mode can easily bleed into other modes as an unintended bug (like it did in this case). A full set of regression tests of all scenarios would've caught this, but since it's an interim beta build, such comprehensive testing is understandably not done. And guess what, even if caught, releasing the bug into an interim beta build is not the end of the world.
