Unfortunately I can't exit the settings menu because it removed 'save and back' button.

Hit escape to exit out of menus. Go into window mode to exit game.

  • Hello @PlumCrazy, The 1.6.21.0 build with this bug was never released to general availability (a.k.a. GA, the final SU4 release build). The bug was part of a pre-release test for which everyone h

  • Man the beta testers today sure don’t like bugs in the, checks notes, beta that they willingly signed up for. Oh no. i mean seriously? Some of responses here for something so trivial is real

Yeah, hud in cockpit view and useless captions that cannot be removed... people have the right to be fed up with these stupid decisions from people who don't listen to the community after 5+ years.

First try of this beta revealled a lot of stutters at LPFR, from the gate to the rw and on initial climb. Even sound sputtered 😕

Once above CLB reduction ( I was on the default ASOBO A32N ) it got smoother and sound was also good.

Didn't have the chance to complete the flight due to external factors, so I don't really know how landing would be at LPPT with the bad weather at the time :-/

The new interface at the bottom I almost didn't notice it, but heck, what's your problem guys? For someone without a keyboard it's great, and OTOH we have to be reminded this is a game, because otherwise it is so good we could be easily fooled to think we were flying the real thing !

Wonderful update! Thanks Asobo! Seb for President of France! I bet his wife doesn't hit him on the nose!

How else are the new PlayStation players able to know how to exit the airplane?

By checking their assignments just like every other control. There should be options to remove all hints and tips that clutter displays.

No one can understand how Asobo pushed out an update when such a glaringly obvious problem existed which affects everyone. They had only just released an update so the current one could have waited until early next week.

I don't see the big issue here, either. You'd think someone killed Bambi.

Maybe Avsim should provide emotional support dogs. 😉

Just out of curiosity, was LPFR solely an MSFS2024 airport , updated from MSFS2020 to 2024 or solely a MSFS2020 airport but used in MSFS2024 ?

I honestly don't know - didn't even try to check in the Library but I will if I get the chance!

Looks nice for a default airport. Couldn't ask for more.

Someone mentioned earlier on that it might be the textures for 2020 not working well in 2024.

Initially when i got 2024 it was butter smooth, worked beautifully.

Now i have horrible stutters especially when I arrive at airports to the point where i can’t fly anymore and have gone back to 2020.

Not in the beta, all i have done is add airports, some 2024 exclusive some not.

So i am going to start experimenting by only using 2024 airports exclusively and see what happens.

Apart from whatever they were smoking with the daft ‘exit aircraft’ prompt, I am seeing stutters when changing views again which seemed to be banished from the last beta. It also seems to me that anti aliasing suddenly is rather bad now? I’m seeing huge amounts of shimmering that I thought was banished back in the days of FSX with the DX hack.

Either way I feel this is a regression…

How can this be a bug when it was written into the code (see official forum link), and we have never had the text "press shift+C to leave aircraft" before?

This was purposeful.  Someone at Asobo actually thinks it is a good idea.  I am not surprised really.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Asobo's XBOX timeline development just made it into PC. Yay.

Can't wait for scrollable text in a window somewhere in Sim Update 5.

Lol Asobo up to their old tricks, why this surprises anyone I don't know, they have a history of "WHAT!?!" game design decisions 😅

the .21 build at my end

Lower 0.1% Frames, BUT when a low Frametime happens, the spike is much higher, up to 0.5 Seconds!!! This means a real "hanging Frame". Therefor the overall smoothnes seems better, but these pulsing hangers are a bigger issue for me in VR as the prior .19 build.

This is related to AI in Game Traffic. Realtime Traffic on, Airtraffic density to High and Parker AI Density to Ultra.

As soon es I turn AI in Game traffic off, the Stutters disappear completely.

In .19 build the in Game traffic had no stutters at my end.
