  • fantastic if you ask me, but then I fly exclusively VR and GA airplanes only. 45 fps and no stutters it is the best experience I ever had, fps went up 30% from 35 to 45 (Pimax Crystal Light) now

  • I can't get rid of panning stutters with the last couple of beta builds. I've cleared my nvidia caches, rolling cache, I'm using the latest nvidia 581.94 hotfix driver. I've tried clean community

have to remember to update to DLSS v4 again using DLSS swapper, after each and every MSFS update. otherwise MSFS reverts back again to DLSSv3 even though the MSFS graphics settings still show DLSS 4. strange.

details in lower left using Nvidia registry overlay hack.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Two in quick succession. Doesn't that usually mean it is very, very close?

If in VR, try this: Flight Interface | Hud in External View on

This is the first time the external HUD ever showed up for me in VR. I imagine that the cockpit HUD would work now too.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

How’s performance in this new build?

9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Yeesh! What a very busy day for the sim!

5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX  9070XT.

Performance seems good for me in the latest beta.  I fly in VR (Reverb G2, 9800X3D, 5080).  I'd be fine if this latest build was the official SU4 release.  One regression I have noticed in the past 2 beta updates: AI aircraft sounds now cut in suddenly when the aircraft becomes within maybe 1/2 mile of you and cut out suddenly when the aircraft flies/drives out of that range.  Previously you could hear AI aircraft from much farther away, and the engine sound would not cut in/out so drastically.  This is noticeable for me only when I am standing outside my aircraft, so not a huge issue (as I tend to be in the cockpit 99% of the time 😉  )

45 fps and no stutters it is the best experience I ever had, fps went up 30% from 35 to 45 (Pimax Crystal Light) now that we have finally Foveated Rendering in VR (Foveated rendering scale set to default 50). 45 fps is sufficient if they are constantly at that same level, i.e. constant frame times. in 2D I would typically see 110 fps. absolutely smooth. First time I think I don't need any more fps, and definitely no RTX 5090, another 4 fps for another $ 3.000?😀

when did he get hired, I had never met this ramp agent before, is he new to SU4?

shockingly realistic looking, but he doesn't fool me, he never blinked even once, so I assume he is not real?

This is too cruel to us 5090 players ...

Was surprised as well to discover new these marshaller's object. Not sure if it was with SU4 or before. Didn't pay much attention to them anyway.

I can't get rid of panning stutters with the last couple of beta builds. I've cleared my nvidia caches, rolling cache, I'm using the latest nvidia 581.94 hotfix driver.

I've tried clean community folder. Even with the default Baron I have this issue.

I did a clean install of beta 4 to no avail.

Everytime I look up down left or right with mouse look (right button held down) it stutters then goes smooth.

It's  like off screen pre-caching setting is being ignored. I have mine on ultra.

Even the opening cinematics are a stutterfest.

There are plenty of reports of this on the FS official forums.
