would be nice to see more smaller GA aircraft. Mostly what I'm seeing is airliners. Guess everyone wants to be an airline pilot.

There's plenty of GA coming.

C208 Caravan with variants, Commander 114, Twin Commander (piston and turbine), Lancair Legacy (glass + analog with options for turbocharging), Piper Navajo, plus all the bizjets (which I consider GA), Phenom, Praetor, some announced ones 😉

And the SWS Kodiak update, plus eventually their PC-12 NG and TBM series.

An unannounced A2A project as well 🙂

  • Black Square piston Commander and then the Twin piston/turbine commanders I'm thinking the unannounced A2A, hopefully I know of some others but cannot comment hehe Oh, almost forgot abo

There are a few I am waiting on, but right now my hands are full with the Fenix. The BS Caravan and PMDG 747 will both be instant purchases when released, and now the Hjet will be added. And I still have the A350 and A380 to tackle. And at some point the TFDi MD-11 is on the cards.

It is an onslaught.

Maybe even two for this year, according to Lewis from A2A.

The coming year will be great for GA 👍

I hope you’re a young man. Although I joked on their forum about hoping it arrived before I popped my clogs it did eventually arrive for P3D after several years of development.

And that was with a stable P3D platform. How on earth they cope with the shifting sands of MSFS must be extremely difficult. Maybe they’ve decided it’s not worth the effort. Just my guess. I have no inside knowledge. Just years of knowing how they operate.

Hi Ray:

Regarding, "...I hope you’re a young man..."...far from it...though my hair is a little less grey...🙂... and those 5-minute Hair Color kits (mostly) still seem to do the job...🙂...

Anyway, yes, the FSLabs are famously known for their silent (and long) development cycle, punctuated by (occasional) teasers. I recall well their A320-X website of FSX/P3D days, seemingly stagnant forever, but still regularly frequented by (some of) us A320 SIM enthusiasts.

However, you're right that their Concorde for MSFS is a very (very) long shot...if not totally improbable...

Cheers...!

MD-80 with Analogue Gauges

DC-8, DC-10, CV-990, B58, 717, Mercure, VC-10, Concorde,...

Now, your imagination, Joshua, for MSFS, is soaring to unprecedented heights...🙂...

Seriously, the "Mercure" is a nice catch.

A few dates to ponder:

  1. (Wing mounted Twinjet) Boeing 737 flew first in 1967.
  2. Dassault Mercure, also a wing mounted Twinjet, flew first in 1971, 4 years later.
  3. The A320 Twinjet flew first in 1987, 20 years after the B737.
  4. The A320 Family overtook the B737 in (official) deliveries, last year, in 2025 October.

So, another case of "What if?"...

Here is the (FSX) Dassault Mercure, that you would surely recall. I don't think this one is high on the PMDG priority list...so, maybe by another developer...

GA only here but I am strangely and uncharacteristically tempted by the 737-600. I wouldn't fly it as an airline pilot though 😉

It really is a wonderful addon even if you have only the least interest in it.

while it’s got serious depth to all systems, its actually quite simple to Kick The Tires And Light The Fires for a VFR free flight with Alt, Head, and A/T.

Considering that it can be had for well under the price of all the best GA addons from anyone, it’s a No Brainer purchase.

I do not fly it like a real world airline pilot, and I think that it is the best thing since sliced bread

A 717 with enough depth for A to B ops-something TFDi 717 was awesome for in P3D, the current FSX360/CS one doesn't cut it.

Excited for Bluebird's 757-whether that gets given more polish time and delayed to 2027 or on-track for Q3 as promised, will be worth the wait and the ini L-1011 TriStar.

I fly the MSFS 787 a lot, but still, a better 787 from a 3rd-party (premier) developer is desirable and my wish for a dev.

A A318 with Fenix depth of systems.

A VFW-Fokker 614, VC-10 and BAC 1-11 plus a HS748/ATP and JS31/41, please from any dev.

PMDG's 747 family also lookin' forward to.

Great analysis! ️ Only HJG made a decent mercure which I believe someone got it working in P3dv5, though I can't find the link to that 😞

I also want a MD-12 (conceptual) and comet haha 🙂

Also, in 2019 when I aced my High School Exams, I spend the whole of summer building two massive scale models of the Trident 3 and Concorde. The length was about 2.5 - 3m and built using foam, thick card and other light weight stuff.

So the Trident is definitely another aircraft that captured my imagination from that time. Sadly my Trident model was to heavy. But my Concorde one is light and sleek and a dart and if thrown im sure can outrun a javelin. It's a shame I don't have space indoors to fly it and definitely don't want to dirty it taking it out.

Fond memories that bring me back to a time I used to build models instead of expecting to fly them in the sim 🙂
