Not only that, if you leave the keys in the ignition they stay there for when you next get in it! (Actually, it'll get stolen and it'll serve you right!)

Oh, if you switch the fuel supply to the left tank it starts fine. Or has that been mentioned already?

Yeah, anyone ever watch that show Airplane Repo?? Those guys are something.. 😆

I made my first flight today on this marvelous rendition of the 114, a plane I enjoyed flying fifty years ago (!) across Europe. I made my first solo IFR night landing on this beast then, so fond memo

Impressions after my first flight (KMPI - KMYF). As I had thought I would, I went ahead with the old school avionics for my first flight, though I chose not to tackle the funky (in a good way!) RNAV r

It's crazy to me that people are now avoiding addons because the timing of an engine start is just a tiny bit off from real life. I'm just shocked. Maybe some of you need to get back into a real plan

What would the benefit of a click spot to get out of the aircraft be?

The main one being; I don't have to remove my headset to find the keys to press every single time, that's even more immersion breaking than the "warping" as you describe it. (I have no buttons left to bind)

There are no enter/exit clickspots, though suggestions have been made to add them. Shift-C is the only way I'm aware of.

Yes that's my fear, hopefully they'll add them, I'll join their forum and find the relevant thread/start a new one. Thanks

Yeah, understood. I did reflect that it was probably a benefit to VR users. Fair enough 👍

A strange occurrence this evening. Wandering around the skies minding my own business when the electrics went off. No lights, no avionics. But the engine was purring away happily without a care in the world.

I started digging around turning switches on and off, checked the failures, nothing. All good.

I'd best land I thought. I decided on Gatwick as I thought it give all the tubistas a laugh.

Lowered the gear. Wha ! Of course, no electricery = No gear and no flaps.

Executed a textbook wheels up landing. Nobody was hurt.

I thought I heard sniggering from the parking slots.

Not on Beta are you. If memory serves this was a bug in SU6 where the electrical circuits could disconnect. Just a guess for potential cause and if not on beta? Whadda’ I know anyway LoL!

Beta? No. I've got enough trouble as it is. I don't go looking for it. 😂 I reloaded the flight and all returned to normal. 😕

Just had another faultless flight.

I know I was less than overwhelmed by it in the beginning. (A reaction to out-of-box hyper-enthusiasm) But the more I fly it the more I like it. I will actually get my moneys worth out of it. 😃

It's a slow burner, where the aircraft itself may not be super exciting, but all the little quality touches add up and equal a super experience. 😎

Did you check the failures page on the tablet to see if there were any failures that could have led to your loss of electrical power?

Did you try the back up alternator?

I’ve heard it mentioned on the promotional videos but don’t know much about it .

Failures were my first port of call. Clean. I wasn't aware of a backup alternator. I thought I dredged through everything. Nothing jumped out at me.

Every certified aircraft with retractable gear has an alternate extension system. The red knob near the rudder trim will drop the gear in seconds.

Of course. It's not a backup alternator though......Is it?

They call it a "Standby Alternator" in the manual.

It looks like the Standby Alt is only in the turbonormalized plane, too. Don't know which one you were flying. You know what you say after a belly landing? "That'll buff out"

When you start the engine, do you only select Battery ON?
