I'll just say this - starting at the runway will cause you to miss one of the most amazing things about this plane. The startup sounds are simply incredible. They're layered, detailed and responsive to throttle, mixture and temps. Every time I start this plane it leaves a big ol' grin on my face. As I mentioned before, I recommend either a high quality 5.1 sound system, or good quality headphones with Dolby Atmos for Headphones and the "Home Theater" setting enabled in sim. It is incredibly immersive!

I can attest to very smooth FPS and no stutters with the BS Commander 114. That said, I always have very good performance from all Black Square aircraft, and my system specs are a bit robust as well. But yes, smooth flying and operation with this plane.

That is what I am doing...keeping the throttle lever on cut-off or nearly so....but then as I'm turning the mags over I then push forward.

It's not quite like real life but it's a lot better than leaving it on full rich the whole time.

I'm not familiar with this real-world procedure (Lycoming fuel-injected) but based on what some of you have said I think this is at least fairly close.

Those were in MSFS 2020 SU14. The SR22T takes full advantage of the parameters.

While I won’t have the 114, the other 3 BS addons I have outperform almost every other payware addon by a significant margin. Literally towards the top of the Top 10. 👍

I certainly wouldn't consider permanently leave the hobby over someone's unusual preferences and non-negotiables in the sim. But to be clear, I have a lot of respect for Ryan. It wasn't an attack on Ryan in any way; just a 'call to action' that sometimes we get a little overheated and need to step away to regain perspective and remember the love we have for this hobby, that keeps us there for 10, 20, 30 years or more. 👍
