I've been using PL for years and I have yet to experience sound issues or CTD. If you have core issues with your system setup, PL is NOT going to help or produce a miracles, otherwise it does work and is worth every penny.

The turbine Duke will be an instant buy for me even if the price is considered too steep, I'm quite certain it will be worth every penny. I own every single airplane BS has put out and so far, I love all of them.

I could care less about the initial screen (dune) I'm not that sensitive. All I want is the Dukes.

There is absolutely no way a weather app can depict weather exactly as it is in real life, is just impossible, so for that reason I'm sticking with default, which is quite good and enough for me.

Great info, I haven't purchased yet, I'm still on the fence. How about weather transitions from station to station, is it as smooth as they claim it to be?

Even if they did, you cannot deny what they have accomplished in such a short time so Kudos to MS and Asobo.

Lets just hope SU-15 does't break anything in the Duke's, otherwise release day will be further down next month.

If find it hard to believe that some have grainy clouds and others don't, same clouds all across (unless cloud setting below Ultra). The grainy issue is there, whether you see it or not, and Bobsk8, yes, you too.

If I climb too fast that's the same problem I encounter. What I do is to climb to 10,000 at a climb rate of 1,000 fpm, then reduce my climb rate to 500fpm. This procedure works for me and I usually fly cruise alt of 15,000 with press dial set to 11k. This is just me, no idea on how it works in real life.

It happened to me too, same situation.

This FG mod is a hit and miss, in my case yes it gave me higher frames but at the same time introduced stutters, more so when panning, so I decide to just stick to my setup, it gives me the smoothest experience my rig can provide and I'm quite happy with it.

Wow 3.5K pounds for just 45fps with Fgen, not worth the $$$$ investment in my opinion.There's definitely a need for performance improvements in the eye-candy department.
