  1. There are reports at the MSFS forums about a Bing Maps server outage issue during the last 5-6 hours at least (maybe more).
  2. Thanks a lot for bringing up the question and to Bad_T for letting us know how to do the trick. Very useful
  3. On my experience, 100/100 Mbps should be good enough to run MSFS. If you're away from a big city, check also the connection has a low latency (lower than 10 ms).
  4. This is really scary and hopefully nothing will happen and these people can return to normal life quite soon.
  5. I wouldn't expect add-on compatibility problems between 2020 and 2024, since to me so far I haven't noticed any major differences between the current 2020 and the new 2024 coming out next year.
  6. CUK is a company dedicated to upgrading your new laptop/desktop PC's. I can only recommend them. Look here: https://cukusa.com
  7. Could you please describe which aspects went wrong with the ATR after SU13?.
  8. Thanks for posting this. I've completely forgot them after they left Flightsim.to.
  9. The Horizon 787 is the -9 model. The default B787 is the bigger -10 model. Kuro's B787 is the -8 model
  10. This can be the subject of a very long and technical discussion. To avoid sttutering, it's my first priority, in my case, considering I don't have the latest CPU, nor the latest video cards.
  11. You don't need to have 60-80 fps in your sim to make it smooth. What you must avoid is the fps ups and downs that produce stutters and kills the immersion. For me, and according to experts, the human eye con only perceive up to 30 fps in the screen, so this number or close to it, is the fps benchmark that I follow given that the value is achievable on both of my systems and does not change very much on a given scenario, so stuttering is almost non-existent. For the most parts of systems, keeping a constant frame rate close to 60 - 80 in medium and complex scenarios is never achievable.
  12. Never used the Map Enhancer and always the default Bing maps. Had intermittent issues with the MSFS messages of low bandwidth in the past, about one year ago, but these were due to may previous slow internet. Now at 500 Mbps fiber, and always connected directly via ethernet to my router, those message rarely appear, even with my wife using the internet via wi-fi for domestic purposes while I'm flying. I don't think the issue has anything to do with the Enhancer being used or not.
  13. Nice shots. The CS 717 has a good exterior model with lots of animations, as shown in the pictures. Regretfully for me, it's a bit of frustration when it comes to flying the plane, not only because it's a hack from the default MSFS A320 systems, but also the AP is not working properly, so the plane it's very difficult to control. Hopefully CS or a third party enthousiast could patch or develop a mod improving the handling of the plane and making it more similar to a true B717.
  14. It's just a one man company. Don't expect too much out of it.
  15. Their TBM850 has also the option to choose either Steam Gauges or GPS (I think the GTN750 at least), according to existing videos of the product.
  16. I would first wait for REX AccuSeasons Advanced Edition to work well with the default Bing maps. It's causing CTDs or freezes for me (and to others as well) when using most of the existing autumn presets.
  17. Yup, I purchased it already. TFDi version will be maybe ready for MSFS2028... 😅
  18. I would recommend the Edgley Optica (Gotfriends / ORBX).
  19. There's some impact on performance, but the benefits of having those powerlines, etc., in the sim outcomes that impact
