Hi, I didn't find answer on my question. In FMC (TAKEOFF REF page 2/2) you have 3 heights to set - ACCEL, EO ACCEL and REDUCTION. I have charts (screenshot is included lower in this topic) with noise abatement procedures on LKPR and I need your help, please - which height will be ACCEL, which EO ACCEL and which one REDUCTION? Thanks.

It was reported today that; "The powerful Senate Appropriations Committee has rapped the knuckles of the FAA over its handling of proposed changes to the delivery of online navigation information services and suggested more congressional oversight on the implementation of those changes. The committee, whose report must be approved by the full Senate and House, says AeroNav, the arm of the agency that publishes navigation and airport information, should immediately restore the 17-day advance availability of the next iteration of online publications, which it abruptly reduced to 24 hours last year. The change made it difficult if not impossible for third-party online navigation information providers to fully update their data bases before the effective dates of the new charts. "The committee is concerned that these changes may conflict with the FAA's mission to provide timely and accurate information for pilots in the interest of safe and efficient navigation," the committee said. It also warned against using online products as a cash cow to make up for lost revenue from diminishing paper chart sales." You can read more of the article here. You can also read the FAA announcement regarding AeroNav and its vision of the products here.

For some reason the 750 will not recognize my charts? Maybe a path error to the chart folder? Jon

Hey everyone, I know this is not totally relevent to PMDG, but this seems like the most active forum around here. Anyway, I am looking for an app for charts, proceedures, kneeboard and calculations when flying with FSX. I also hope to use this in the RW when I start my training. I have been flying the 737NG for a while and always want to be able to have a kneeboard type device to use to see the charts and proceedures accociated with that plane wihtout having to keep switching between windows. I can see in the appstore there are hundreds of apps that have what I am looking for, but they all do the same thing and are different costs. There arent many reviews either. I have an AOPA account and was looking at the FlyQ apps, but I dont have 70.00-170.00 to spend on a subscription. I was also looking at FSkneeboard which looks good, but it too is expensive and does the same thing as the other apps do and the others are much less money. I guess my real question is, what apps do you all have, and what do you like and recommend for me to get. I also have a navigraph account and was thinking about using there charts, but i dont think they have anything for the iPad and they only have 1749 airports throughout the world and not many in the US so.....] Thanks in Advance!

Hey all fellow pilots, I am looking for an app for my iPad to be used for Charts, calculations, weather, basically as a kneeboard for myself to use in FSX and possibly RW. I see tons of apps in the app store, and all of them advertise the same things. Which ones are the best, and what do you suggest for me? I will be most likely starting my RW flight training in the next year, and if possible would like to use whatever app I get now, for that. I do have an AOPA account and was looking at the FlyQ apps, but I do not have 170.00 to spend for a 12-month membership. Thanks in advance!

Suggestion :)
kyz posted a topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support Forum
Hello, I have a great suggestion that I think everyone would appreciate. My suggestion is an option to import pdf files, overlay them onto the map, then the user manually moves the chart for their f-plan. The flight plan route could be on top of the pdf, so the route matches any SID or STAR. Obviously, this is just a suggestion and I am aware that features like this are difficult to implement. Here is a picture of how it would look like. Many thanks for your great software, Kyz
