EZDok - simply the greatest add-on!

Thanks, Jesse. I created new cameras on a payware plane that had none, and even though the RND, DHM, and CR buttons were checked, the actual settings on those (when you right click them) are all at zero. So even though they are enabled, they don't actually do anything.
See the thread "I need help again - Sorry" started by "dougal" in the EZdok support forum. It explains how to fix this.Dugald

Yup, it greatly adds to the head latency effects of FSX, which in FSX are normally most apparent when you stand on the brakes. EZDOK is very cleverly done though, being a separate effect, and a lot more sophisticated than the default FSX effect. As others have stated, it really is very convincing; certainly cool if you want turbulence to appear to be affecting your aircraft. What is especially pleasing on that score is the fact that it makes it seem more like you are actually 'in' an aircraft, with the scenery visible 'through' the windows, which makes the VC experience a lot more visceral, and understandably, I think that is what has sold many people on it, including me. Even something as simple as the take off roll is made more believable as your view shakes about a bit.The camera tweaks and such do not have to be indulged in, you can simply set it and forget it, and it will look pretty convincing even on the default settings, but there is the potential to play around with it to suit your favourite aeroplane and how likely you are to get thrown about in the seat.Al
I have found though...something that made me smile by having EZdok. If you are sitting in the pilot's seat of the stock Baron 58...and have all three effects on, you will notice that the cabin moves independently of the wing section. I'm serious! Go and check it out. Take a back seat as a camera viewpoint..and watch the cabin move as the wing/engine nacelle stays relatively quiet. I have found this only on this airframe to date.Mitch

Can anyone help me get vertical movement up and down, in outside view with the Hatswitch? I only get horizontal. Thanks

You will only get horizontal when you are in the default "Spot View" with the hat switch. If you assign a camera to the exterior of the a/c you can pan up and down with the hat switch.

I believe the developer mentioned that will be fixed in the next patch. Don't have a link at the moment, but I believe I read it on the Flight1 support forum.

Yes, I read that as well. I think he said the big 1.14 patch will be in 2 to 3 weeks.

Man, this program is PRICELESS!Never mind the fact that you have 'immersion' effects...just the cameras and custom views you can create is worth the price of admission alone!I have the StationAir 6 all decked out with custom passenger views...and let me tell ya, with the turbulence and head movement...oh heck, neck and shoulder (lol) as well, do you EVER now feel like you are actually flying.I also have created cameras that get me in an instant to different parts of the instrument panel, and you can get so close up to controls...you'd be bumping your nose into them! You can get a great view of switches 'from underneath' the flight yoke, where they are perfect to view and manipulate. While in flight, whipping around the instrument panel is as simple now as hitting numbers 5-0.I have a 'passenger view' in the second row seating just behind the pilot's seat, with a great view of the wing and beyond. After getting set up at cruise (I'm on my way from Olympia, Oregon to Vegas (KLAS), I am now enjoying the immersion of the plane reacting to atmospherics, and my 'body' being influenced as a result. Totally real as far as I am concerned. This hobby, fuelled by great Apps as EZdock...makes 'as real as it gets'...a truthful statement. I'd say that EZdock simulates a full-motion multi-million dollar flight simulator, but for 35 greenbacks.Back to the flight...and on towards Sin City. The one-arm bandit is calling out to me.... :(

Yes, this is the program that may make me not use FS9 anymore... The pure reason I was an FS9ser until the other day...was active cam...pure and simple...couldn't live without those shaking and bouncing effects...let alone the ability to snap to preset VC views...necessary for flight....now it's that and more!! It's got me flying little planes again..... after years of only jets!

I personally do, and I know a lot of others do as well. The nice thing is you'll be able to decide for yourself, since Flight1 has a 30-day money back guarantee if you're not happy with it.

It may very well be a nice piece of software, but $35 for a 6MB utility is a bit much IMHO. Hell, PNW was only $15 more than that and it was 5GB of top quality stuff.I know it's taboo to criticize prices, I've nearly been killed for it before, but there you have it.

Uhm... don't you think it would be more appropriate to judge the bang-for-the-buck factor by the work that was put into the product and, more importantly, how much enjoyment and use you get out of it, rather than gauging it by the size of its files?

It's not so much that you criticize the price but rather the criteria you use for doing so. I actually never heard someone judge the price of a software by its filesize. ;)

Hi,Well, I just purchased the addon. I still need to do some reading. Anyone have a setup for Level-D's 767?. Figured if someone already created views and for lack of a better word a motion profile for the 767, why re-create the same setup.Wonder if there is an online forum or download directory for EZDok aircraft profiles?Anyone? Thanks
