Terrain radar has been done by other planes before, like the Leo Maddog. I'm wondering if perhaps the plane is landing using GNSS?

What Ryan was referring to is on the ND.... its shaded in a light yellow.

I don't think it is that because the FlytheMaddog/Leonardo MD-88 has working terrain radar display on the ND.

Beautiful. Can't wait to see this baby on final approach to my computer. I know this must have been a labor of love for the PMDG team, and I look forward to enjoying the fruits of your labor. I suspect this is a plane that will probably cause me to delete most of the other planes off of my hard drive, due to lack of use. ;-)
