Heres's a link to a video of the PMDG 737 NGX posted at Angle of Attack. Simply incredible!http://www.flyaoamed...ckpit-thoughts/
I will buy both, so I am not one of those my 737NG is better than yours guys... but, other than the dust and finger prints, how much better is the visual over the iFly version? If you take the emotion out ... not much different on the visual ...

LOL, you can't be serious. And it's not only an eye candy thing. The displays are much crisper making them err, readable. The clickspots make sense too, if you know what I mean

This is by far the most detailed aircraft I've ever seen. In terms of detailing, it supersedes iFly by couple of miles. Not saying iFly is bad though. Moreover I'm anxious to see the performance difference. Which is smoother...Looking forward to getting it. And the video is GREAT.

I have to agree... At this stage it is simply impossible to say that the PMDG 737NGX doesn't look any different from the iFly. I have seen the video twice now... I love it. I love everything about it. I will buy it when it comes out, for sure, no doubt about it.

Not interested in all the juvenile gushing that you read in various forums, just need price and what system specs is required. That video (which is a very well made one at that, props to the maker) shows it is a well made product that should be worth getting so it just remains to be seen if it is out of my cost bracket and if my system will run it, when that info is around I will make a informed decision on whether to get it or not.

.. not much different on the visual ...
If you think that Camilla Parker Bowles and A. Jolie are "not much different on the visual" than I have to agree with you.Seriously, I hope you were kidding.

Amazing visuals there, as expected. I had to turn off the sound though, it drove me nuts. Just%20Kidding.gifAfter years of delays and teasing (together with not happening service packs for older products) you actually have to be better than the competitor, but I wonder how much of this better is needed and, especially, how much one has to pay for it. I don't need no ego lifter, but I'm interested in good addons either way.In short, pricing and conditions are the most important stuff for me on that release now.

Nice detailed and when the price is right I want to buy it next to my iFly 737 NGX but wait till the first customer reviews about the fps...

The sound was turned down by the guy who made the video.. and the mouse clicking noise is a ezdok thing.. he posted and said he should have muted that. I guess this video was not originally intended for release but as a internal video for the AoA guys??? Either way the visuals were great.

I have to agree with the others, the visuals are much crisper, especially the HGS HUD system, Check out 25:45:00 in this video of the IFLY 737-800, compared to the PMDG/AOA video
...and just for comparison sake here is what it looks like with the Ariane 737-800

Thanks

That's not quite fair. There's a thirty year age gap..! :( It does look very good though. The plane that is.. It IS very crisp, and the HGS is brilliant.I don't think we should worry too much about FPS or price. They've said it's going to be at least comparable to other complex products. And despite the a really excited user trying to outdo each other with offers of hundreds of dollars, I seem to remember the boss saying not to worry about the price - 'we know our market.'And I agree, let's leave the 'OMG I've wet myself' style gushing for the PMDG forum. Agreed - but I'm only basing this off screenshots and videos of both.

It IS better than the iFly version, model included and it notices. Now... is it worth it? It'll be over $70 for sure and it's just another 737 (even if it is THE 737), i think they should have made something that we still lack like a PROPER 777 or maybe a PROPER Airbus collection. You can shoot me now and yes, i love Airbuses.
