Flight1 King Air B200

Just a dumb comment... you did put KIAH and KSAT right?  (Not even sure if IAH is a vor anyway)

Other than that did you install via right click "install as admin" when you unwrapped from the red wrapper?  When the wrapper asks if you want to run automatically after extract select NO, and I run it myself after extraction.  This way you can run it as admin.  I've also found this run as admin really has nothing to do with UAC - since mine's been disabled since I installed Win7.  I've had similar navigraph issues with ES Citation and F1 Mustang.

Maybe that will work for you too.  I agree, if it wasn;t working on my end I'd be ###### too.

Yup, KIAH/KSAT.

Anyways, uninstalled and reinstalled and problem solved. Not sure what the deal was. I just completed IAH-SAT.

And yes, IAH is a VOR.  B)

As much as I try to like it, I cannot gel with the F1 KA B200. I was looking for something to fill the gap between small GA/warbirds and the Q400, and larger than the Realair BE60s, which I already have...

Let us see how the MilViz 350i with analogue panel is going to turn out.

I'm pumped about the Pro Line 21 myself since there will be updatable navdata yay.

Performance will be close between B350 and BE20 with BH engine mods.

Haven't seen an update on it in ages.

They're probably focusing on the 732

Is it just not your type of plane?  Do you have the Carenado B200?

Well, I can say that I definitely enjoy this B200 a lot.  I haven't seen very much not to love.  I really wish I had more hours in the day to devote to flying it, but I've had to make due with one short flight every night.  I have to say, the MFD is really, really nice to operate - very pilot friendly.  Once you get a handle on what you're doing, flight plan entry is really quick with the popup controller.  And I love that I can control every aspect of the controller on my touchscreen monitor.

I've noticed one little sound glitch - sometimes when coming out of beta range it cuts off quite suddenly and you hear a bit of static.  I'll probably try a reinstall prior to bringing it up as an actual glitch though.

Back to flying.

Why no youtube videos being made other than the flight1 version - also not a lot of screenshots either - wierd

Hmmm... maybe everyone is too busy concentrating on simply flying!

Also, perhaps it's one of those things where because there's really no risk to buying, the devs didn't feel the need to sell heavily with a massive amount of screenshots and videos.

I think that some of the best features of this plane aren't what really what would be highlighted in a youtube video - unless you really dig watching flightplan entry and running through a checklist, but that would fall into more of a tutorial that a promotional video.

If you're on the fence, there's really no reason to be, unless you don't dig the type.

Could someone answer this Q?

In what way is the F1's KA G1000 different from their Cessna Mustang G1000? (Apart from the engine gauges)? What have they added or made it better?

I notice that Flight1 has now closed their B200 Support forum to all but those who have already purchased The B200, and registered to view the support forum.

I can understand (and would agree with), only allowing those who have not yet purchased the product, to POST on the "support" forum.

However, not allowing those potentially interested in purchasing, from seeing what is being discussed, and any issues reported by purchasers, does not seem to be in the best interest of anyone researching the product, with the intent to purchase.

Yes, one can buy it, and then have an option to return it,   if not satisfied  -- but effectively hiding the posts of any problems with the product, from those considering purchase, may not sit well with many. ?

I have to agree and was thinking the same thing.  It certainly has shut down my ability to research it.  Now I have no idea what's going on.
