November 2, 201411 yr Come on Scott. We all know that there is very little stick flex on a real pogo stick and modelling it would simply be a waste of valuable resources, costing FPSsssss Frankly I'd rather have those animation resources used on rain effects. If it doesn't have stick flex then I won't be buying it. B) Scott
November 2, 201411 yr Content of quote removed by moderator because the original post quoted was trolling. I agree. PMDF is such an awful company! PMDG on the other hand... Really, though... If they were to release an MD-80 it would outshine the Leonardo version by far. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with the Leo MD-80, it is just a rather old addon and PMDG has a reputation for painstaking excellence. That is why you see so many people who may SEEM to 'blindly' support PMDG, when in reality they are one of the better developers.
November 2, 201411 yr 7-6 would make me use my vacation days at work. lolll George Kyriazis | www.georgekonline.com
November 2, 201411 yr I would love to see a PMDG Boeing 717, and they already have the makings of it with the MD11. Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)
November 2, 201411 yr I hope it's a modern day Airliner Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
November 2, 201411 yr You guys are way off. PMDG is out of the aviation game. They're making a complex Goat Simulator. The recent one is a joke. Jokes aside, I hope it's a DC-10 but I'm not holding my breath. Nature Boy
November 2, 201411 yr I'm going to take a completely different view here...I'm hoping it's an AI traffic package complete with the ATC we've all wanted for years and years. Think about it - this is the perfect team to undertake such an ambitious project. Their combined experience in working with the Flight Simulator platform is staggering. With each release, PMDG has pushed the envelope for what's possible in a computer simulation; they gained a deep understanding of the code involved in the simulation engine, learned its limitations, and pioneered brilliant ways to get around those obstacles. And that's the key: this team knows the sim inside and out. I can't even begin to imagine the complexity in developing an all-new ATC system, a novel AI traffic suite, and integrating these elements into a cohesive unit that interfaces with Navigraph and can be updated with real-world routes. But then again, these guys spend years building complex airliners that are true to their real-world counterparts. If any company can develop an AI/ATC package, it's PMDG. What's the current market for AI traffic packages? Flight One's Ultimate Traffic 2: EOL product, will eventually lose "compatibility" with P3D. MyTraffic X Pro 5: will eventually be updated for P3D v2, but there's only one developer for this complex add-on, and with the constant updates to P3D, it's hard for him to keep up. Just Flight's Traffic 360 - not updated for P3D v2 (will it ever be?). None of these are fully integrated with ATC, and Radar Contact 4 isn't getting updated any time soon either. That's the state of affairs for such an important part of our simulation. Say nothing of X-Plane, but that's an entirely different story. Is it a massive project? Yes, especially given that PMDG is now developing for 3 platforms (FSX, P3D, XPlane). Would everyone buy this package day 1 of release? Absolutely -Elliot Intel Core i9 10900k @ 5.1 GHz / Asus Maximus Hero XII / Nvidia RTX 3090 FE / 32 GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 CL16-16-16-36 / Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB NVMe / Noctua NH-D15 / EVGA Supernova 1600 T2 / Honeycomb Alpha Yoke / CH Pro Pedals / Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant / HP Reverb G2
November 2, 201411 yr I actually dont give a sh*t what they release, in the end I'll end up buying it anyway. And with proud. I own any product since the MD11, and each any any one of them was more than worth the price.
November 2, 201411 yr Embraer E-Jets would be wonderful, but I do have a feeling it may be something Boeing which causes me to believe it's a 787 or possibly 757, but the latter is near retirement and therefore not as viable. On the former support.precisionmanuals.com website there was a link in the knowledge base that was titled something like What's Next at PMDG. I recall it having the 777 listed (now released of course), but I also remember it saying the Dash 8 series. I'm not sure if that's what this project is or if that was a former idea that was determined unnecessary after Majestic created theirs. We still need the -Q100/200/300, so I guess that could be it, if I even remember that item correctly. Regards, Jeremy Chesney
November 2, 201411 yr Commercial Member Gents- You guys are funny. The amount of parsing/hoping/dreaming that goes on in this thread borders on hysterical... Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
November 2, 201411 yr Gives us something to do at FL350 over the open ocean. The FS2crew FO isn't terribly good at pointless banter. Mike Dryden

The Leonardo MD-80 is, even by modern PMDG standarts, a systems masterpiece, excellence bar none. It has for a long time lacked in the graphical department though - now if Rob could spare Jason and Vin for a couple months... Oh god, I think I'm wetting myself now. --Peter Fabian
November 2, 201411 yr Gents- You guys are funny. The amount of parsing/hoping/dreaming that goes on in this thread borders on hysterical... You do have to realize that whatever PMDG will make in the future, it will shape our (personal) life in the future! This subject is kinda like "Honey, what's for dinner?" magnified 1000x!
November 2, 201411 yr And what if this time it will not be an aircraft but a standalone product ?PMDG was talking about a shared-cockpit feature for the NGX, supposed to come in a SP which never arrived. Maybe this function will be implemented in the T7/NGX and upcomings products ? Best regards,Julien FERSING
