April 2, 201511 yr The Hawker must be on a missed approach, and waiting for the controller to wake up. I cant take the anticipation! My credit card is burning a hole in my pocket waiting for this thing. Ive got access to a RL Hawker 850XP that is based at my FBO. Complete with a pilot to give me a rundown on the ProLine 21. Now I just need this product in my hangar. Was kinda thinking maybe Carenado was waiting on the new AIRAC cycle to come out before releasing it. My countless refreshes of the company website have yet to bear fruit. :( Matt Bernard20+ Years Commercial/GA A&P/PLST

April 2, 201511 yr Or maybe they are applying fixes to the nav suite and plane after seeing the disappointment in the Phenom and S550. Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
April 2, 201511 yr Release some steam, it will be another half finished, overpriced product ... Artur
April 2, 201511 yr I have a feeling that this one is going to be a winner. Let them take their time so that they get this one right. MSFS
April 2, 201511 yr Release some steam, it will be another half finished, overpriced product ... Sad but true... Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
April 2, 201511 yr They certainly know how to hype a product waaaaaaay before it's release, don't they? Final Approach my ****
April 2, 201511 yr "FYI- the New AIRAC was released today....." For the Citation 550 ... is what I seen. Did you see one for the Hawker ? Or do they use the same data? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
April 2, 201511 yr Final Approach my **** Well, there is final approach, then the 10nm final, then the outer marker, then the middle marker, then minimums, then the inner marker, then the runway threshold......then touchdown. AJ Pongress
April 2, 201511 yr I see on the Carenado Facebook page, they have announced the start of a new project - a Citation CJ2. This might indicate some people have finished the Hawker and moved on. Dale
April 2, 201511 yr I see on the Carenado Facebook page, they have announced the start of a new project - a Citation CJ2. This might indicate some people have finished the Hawker and moved on. Thanks - not much different than 550 - hmm thats not good Rich Sennett
April 3, 201511 yr All I want (minus few bugs lol), is an fms that can go direct. April 3, 201511 yr Ryan,By current rendition do you mean the Universal FMS in the 550 or the Hawker's ProLine 21 FMS? Maybe it will be like this e.g.: "All I want (minus few bugs lol), is an fms that can go direct." Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
April 3, 201511 yr Thanks - not much different than 550 - hmm thats not good CE550 verses CJ2? Substantial differences. More differences than commonality in fact. Certainly enough of a difference to justify having one of each in the hanger, and the avionics especially have more in common with the Hawker than the 550. Kerry W. April 3, 201511 yr Both systems should be able to go direct. There's no way to go direct to a fix further down in your FP with the C550. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
