Well, after what I've just watched - and importantly HEARD - , that's one more nail in the coffin for the other sims. Time to just dig a big hole and bury them. I'm sure MS can have those sounds available for us to do that too.

The dynamic wind and biome sounds will take bush flying to a whole new level.

Thanks for the latest update, the audio system like the rest of the sim shown so far is simply first class. Still hoping to get invited for testing...

What astounds me, and is leaving me dumbfounded,  is not really listening to birds,  seeing grass swaying, or the ground details in photo scenery, and beautifully detailed aircraft.... what is blowing me away is the underlying development of the engine and what you DONT see and hear that the star of this show. We have all this now, but not at this level and how this application isn't called Microsoft Slide show, I have no idea.  The development and optimization that went into what you dont see to create all these layers is simply blowing me away.

At 5:39 is that KSFO where the Airbus Neo is taking off from? As said by many here, Asobo is an awesome developer, great job again MSFS Team! I remember someone saying at one point, that the MSFS Team could not make aircraft as well as other 3rd party developers, I know it's not complete yet, but I disagree! Once all the default aircraft are finished ( and yes they may need bug fixes after release ), I think they will be like their real world counter parts, as far as a simulator can take them! This is getting better with each update! And 3rd parties should also be able to produce outstanding add on's! Aircraft, scenery, airport's, ground vehicles, looks like the skies the limit, get it skies 🙂

Are the AI aircraft at 8:42 going to look that good? I know, no livery, funky colors, etc... but it looks better than what we have right now in a default sim, or am I wrong?

And at 9:00 when he is adjusting the Wind and the Waves adjust too...Float Plane, is all I have to say 🙂 I can't wait, please have a X-Cub float version 🙂

Don't Worry, Be Happy! I still say it would make a great song 🙂

Honestly, everything they put out is WOW. This is the simulator we all deserve.

I didn‘t expect too much from this video, but oh my was I wrong! This is a hell of a video! So many questions answered, not only regarding sounds, such great footage, those close-up landscape and airport views! I’m staggered!

These videos do not make me wanna use P3D at all.

I never got started with P3D but it definitely makes me not want to even fire my FSX install up or even consider another sim after all the preview videos I’ve seen so far. The depth and detail they’ve shown so far is astounding and is the sim I’ve dreamt about since I started with the subLogic FS2 version back in 1983 on a C64. I figured at some point in time we’d get to this level but thought it would take more than the 37 than it has.

Outstanding preview video! The soundscape is incredibly robust and immersive like never before in any simulation anywhere.  This is such a tease for not being in the Alpha.  The wind interaction with everything is far more complex then imagined. This sets the bar for any game because its not just a 100x100km world its the whole world with all kinds of different regions and their own appropriate sounds and characteristics.

Also great to hear of the SDK being released soon. 3PDs Im sure are eager to explore.

That list of simulation variables looks uncomfortably familiar for a new sim...

These storm weather effects are just amazing! If I were sitting in that Cessna, I would have serious doubt as to whether or not, I would fly anywhere... 😮

The thunderstorm effects (both lightning and sounds) are terrifying.

The whole video is amazing, but the last minutes are just overkill.

May the simming deities forever bless whichever MS manager decided to go ahead with this project and hire ASOBO to take care of it.

Besides the breathtaking sounds, as a secondary finding from the video I think it is safe to say we won't need a third party addon for KSFO at least. What a great progress on the airport compared to one of the earlier videos. Excited to see the other airports in the next episode.
