Sorry for the off-topic, but for v4.5 we need to uninstall the planes?

Yes, a full uninstall and reinstall

If you have unrepariable liverys or other tweaks, please backup them

As I see, the airframe setting are saved, but the keyblinding via FMC was lost without backup.

From Roberts updated post.

"VERY Important Installation Note #1:
Earlier today we did some security updates that inadvertently caused a problem with Operations Center being able to call home. We have updated the Operations Center, and YOU WILL NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

1) Navigate to this directory: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG Operations Center
2) Double click on OpsCenterUpdater.exe

This will pull the latest update from our system and get you the very latest Operations Center, returning you to full operation."

Thanks mate..

Aggghhh.  Where/how do I go to update?  PMDG makes it easy to find the purchase pages, but their Downloads page is only liveries as far as my old brain can see?

Hi, other Rob.

I always forget how to do this as well, so for anyone who is stuck:

  • On the PMDG homepage, select "Shop"
  • Down in the black panel at the bottom, select "Sign in/Register", under the "Customer" heading.
  • Log in using your PMDG account details.
  • Click on the relevant order number from the list. Your "Download product" link will be on this page, which will generate am authentication code that, once entered, allows you to proceed with the install.

After flying the FSLabs for so long, the NGXu feels like a 2nd. tier add-on

Considering it's 30% cheaper and comes with 9 airframes, the NGXu ain't that bad of a package. But these days I'm just waiting for the "sublime" NG3 anyway.

I have already installed the PMDG NGXu in P3Dv4.5. Now I would like to install it additionally into P3Dv5. How can I do this? The installer is offering me modify, repair and delete as install options, I think this is referring to my existing P3Dv4.5 installation. But I cannot select P3Dv5. How can I proceed?

So you have the previous version installed in 4.5 already? I would just uninstall that, then run the new installer. It'll give you options for a dual install.

We are all pinning hopes on the 5.1 release, but it is worth noting that reflective materials in the upcoming MSFS are really sublime... Really really sublime...

wow!! This will be interesting, looking forward to it.

Worth to mention the immersion package for the NGXu is discounted on ORBX and us 18$ through July. v5 upgrade will be free

Yes. But I realized, that it is also possible to select "modify" in the installer dialog. Then you are asked in the next step, whether installation shall be in P3Dv4 or P3Dv5. I selected P3Dv5, and this worked fine for me, So I now have the NGXu both in P3Dv4 and P3Dv5.

P3Dv5? I'm only seeing A320 Immersion v2 under P3Dv5 in Orbx Central.

Orbx website shows NGXu only for P3Dv4.

Enjoying it in v4.5hf2. Not even considering v5 until 5.1 drops.
