How Long Are You Thinking Of Delaying Your Purchase?

I’ll have to wait until I’ve rebuilt my PC with nothing more than match sticks, blue tak and paper clips and then survived electrocution. And I have whittle the match stick myself. And go down pit to mine the blue tak. You young people have got it easy! Luxury!

I´ll be looking comments and reviews after the release for couple-three weeks. If, and I believe all is good, I will buy a new machine with AMD Ryzen 5 3600x and RTX 2060 Super graphics card. Then I buy the new sim. That will be at the beginning of September.....

Clone of what console title? I'd love to buy that game...

Haha, at this stage people seem to just be inventing alternate realities of the what they've seen of the sim in their heads.

I'll wait for a better Internet connection except if FS20 implements the cache the way  I understood it would from their early EP video. And we even still don't know how the offline really looks.

I've purchased already, purely as encouragement for me to upgrade my ancient rig that might(just) run it on lowest settings...

Until the temp goes down, it is very hot here in Denmark so i wait for the temp to fall, i wont play in this heat.

I initially pre ordered the Premium Deluxe Edition and after watching some Youtube videos I have cancelled my order for now. Things that really bugged me about it

1. Default ATC in my mind is actually worse than the built in FSX atc ( ok it might not zig zag you places but only one voice?) Also the way it announces flight levels

2  No replay system at launch

It does have some amazing features and great potential so I will keep an eye on the updates. Am very happy with how my current sim (FSX) works and with fully loaded ORBX and Active Sky it does produce some great visuals with silky smooth performance. I dabble in P3D too so having a new sim on the market can only be a good thing.

I'll also be watching for possibilities transfer my (hundreds) add-on airport sceneries. And how devs will price add-on aircraft upgrades for the MSFS version. I hope differently than PMDG...

you mean simulate 😛

Looks like a couple of weeks for me.  But it is my launch, not my purchase.  I had already pre-purchased.

Just had a week of growing systems issues and one-by-one lost my primary system drive and two clone backups.  Suspect a hardware issue (MB/SATA) as three SSD's don't just randomly go bad in quick succession.  Win10 went corrupted on all three.

Was planning on a new system next month.  Will have to move it up now.  Will take a couple of weeks.

How are your loading times?

About 4 to 6 minutes total from the time I click the icon to launch to the time I'm in the cockpit.  This includes one full minute of logo videos which cannot be skipped, selecting an aircraft and an airport to fly from, setting the weather, then watching a cinematic of the area which is useful to determine conditions and is just kinda cool.

wow, that's a long friggen time. I'd think picking a plane/airport and choosing real weather option should only take a minute...that leaves alot of video fodder to sit through.

I'll wait until the end of the game pass 1€ month
