They finally addressed the issue of having like 500+ fps while in the menus! Yay, it's back to normal now! 30fps while in the menus! No more waste of system resources!

But unfortunately the "Press any key to start" is still there. How hard can it be to get rid of that? 😞

check in content manager..  after you update there are a couple of updates to the japan stuff as well seperate from the update.

in addition to the patch notes I saw updates to a couple of airports as well  including heathrow and san Fran (I believe it was)

From patch notes....

1)  VFR map CTD shoould be gone.

2) Random switching and avionics bug should be gone.

3) Porpoising in A/P should be much reduced / gone

4) Building heights adjusted

5)  Smartcam ctd fixed

6) Assorted other small fixes.

System specs...   CPU AMD5950,  GPU AMD6900XT,  ROG crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, Corsair 64 gig LPX 3600 mem, Air cooling on GPU,   Kraken x pump cooling on CPU.  Samsung G7 curved 27" monitor at 2k resolution ULTRA default settings.

I am intrigued to find out what "Quality of life updates for the marketplace" actually means? Free beers on the house perhaps?

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X on ROG CROSSHAIR VIIl DARK HERO (AM4), Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 V2 OC and 32 GB Vengeance Pro Ram 3600MHz. DELL Alienware AW3420DW 3440x1440 and DELL U2414H

I'll get it later but curious...

Is the switching to smartcam followed by CTD fixed? The workround was to disable all other air traffic - live and multiplayer.

Do the A320 and 747 FMC's now reliably save the flight plan when you save and resume the game later?

Pleased to hear building autogen is fixed - it was a bit disconcerting to fly over Wick last night and see tower blocks everywhere.

Looks like this patch was to fix the previous bugs created by the last patch. Hopefully the next patch will have more improvements.
