If MSFS was subscription I'd have bailed before Day One and never looked back. I refuse to pay for any computer game that requires me to ante up every month. Don't have one now and never will. As frustrating as it might be for things to get fixed I'm having a great time with this sim. I haven't even run P3D or XP since August 18.

I can't get out of Deutschland myself!  Flying over the little hamlet of Fussen--just gorgeous!

And this humble little rural airport 40m from my home airport.  Remarkable like the real deal:

KBJC-KGXY-2-no-resize-sharpen-x6.pngI do hope MSFS morphs enough in the SDK department to allow for the airware we all have come to know and love.  For now I'm spending time in MSFS & P3D and enjoy them both immensely.

As someone once said: "The fights are so vicious because the stakes are so low".

Really, it's a game. At any rate, as soon as Cyberpunk 2077 hits Steam, I'm shelving MSFS 2020.

What--on earth--leads you to believe that.   All evidence seems to be pointing in exactly the opposite direction.

I thought you guys never really like "evidences"

What I find extremely mind boggling is that I started a thread showing my displeasure with how certain things have not been addressed by ASOBO and I was attacked. I was told to take a break from simming and go fly a real plane. I was even told to calm down.

This happens because of a lack of leadership at both ASOBO and AVSIM. Leaders know how to handle these things. I would not add a down vote button, I'd simply ban the user forever.

That's how we make AVSIM great again. 😀

This is probably the best example of entitled behavior and poinlessness: I have to press an extra key! Scandal! I want my money back!

Wow, that sounds very stressful! How did they attack you?

Your sarcasm is the reason why you have just been added to my exclusive "ignore" list.

What's pointless is the press any key screen.

Ok, I think I might be able to have a guess at what the problem is here.

Also ref recently locked thread titled “Do they think we are a bunch of fools?!” started by DJJose...

You mean like this:

uc?export=view&id=1NoB6vryPj6Dlnw_GtQD9f

Schmitt trigger ...

... comparator circuit with hysteresis implemented by applying positive feedback to the noninverting input of a comparator or differential amplifier ... The circuit is named a "trigger" because the output retains its value until the input changes sufficiently to trigger a change ... typically used in signal conditioning applications to remove noise from signals used in digital circuits, particularly mechanical contact bounce in switches. They are also used in closed loop negative feedback configurations to implement relaxation oscillators ...

Sorry, couldn't resist ... or ...

I should have been a comedian.

Cheers, Rob.

In another life (when I was a kid just out of Navy avionics C school), with a voltage-in and a few other values above the resistors (or pics of the resistors themselves so I could read the Ὠ & tolerance), I could tell you the voltage drop across them, and this was a trigger of some sort (not sure if I knew it was a Schmitt or not).  I remember spending days with gates, trying to figure out the electron flow if this gate was open, this one was knotted, etc.

Amazing how a simple pic in a flightsim forum can "Trigger" those memories from decades ago, and I can't even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday!🤪   The funniest thing I remember is when they tested us, they would mash up the schematics, and draw the wires in crazy configurations, looking nothing like you studied, but electronically-wise, identical in how they performed.    There was one instructor who loved to fashion the circuits to resemble body parts....use your imagination.  Being politically-correct in those days was not a high-priority, and all our classes were guys....sooo.
Our instructors were evil (and comical sometimes).

@Rob_Ainscough I recall you said that one of my posts made you want pizza, and you thanked me.  Well...touche'.  I now want to go grab some schematics and read voltage drops across resistors!  Thanks!
