We've reduced it significantly further with ASP3D (releasing soon) by using some synthesis/cloud type selection logic

Damian, let me tell you I love your products and your professional work and I couldn't sim without it. Thank you, sir!

Does this also backup all keboard assignments?  I use FSUIPC for controls but always lose my keyboard shortcuts....or more importantly the items I delete as they cause issues.

Yes, it does.

Grid issues have been reduced overall, but not completely eliminated.  We've reduced it significantly further with ASP3D (releasing soon) by using some synthesis/cloud type selection logic to limit/remove the scenes which really appear gridded, but it can still happen in some cases especially with camera directly above or below aircraft.  I think moving forward this will be further improved both in stock P3D as well as with add-ons

Damian, with EA on, one can have multiple cloud layers with your program right?

You guys are FS rock stars. Thanks for all your work.

Looks like most of bugs were actually fixed. EA seems to be working correctly with ASP3D RC2. The sim is back to normal and looks good.

Yes.  We've specifically redesigned things (from RC1) to better support multiple layers without conflict problems in EA mode.

I'm really looking forward to go with HF1.

Do weather transitions now occur smoothly?

There's simply no way you're ever going to be able to use 4096 textures on an 8GB card in V5 with any sort of decent add-on stack. Sorry. I have an 8GB card and can barely even run at 2048. This is not something LM deems they need to "fix," it's simply a consequence of moving to DX12.

Just curious, what would that "fix" be?

Alan

just saying some people are state there is still objects bleeding through clouds , airport objects mainly, but cant confirm as i have not installed the hotfix yet !

With scenery, this means all 8-10.cab files right?

Content wasn't changed, was it?

Release notes suggest that LM not only changed buildings in order to prevent shining through haze but also airport vehicles.

This, in my opinion implies that als airplanes could possibly suffer from this.

Any of you ever saw an airplane shining through haze?
