I guess it depends what you'r trying to achieve. But i always found the "broken SDK" excuse a little bit too easy. 🙂

Yikes... Maybe it's because I do almost 100% VFR and barely use AP functionalities, but to be honest, I'm not seeing much difference in the way used to work on my hardware and how it does now,.

Ok sure the JAB has a few lines of custom code.  I stand by my comments though.  It's not a complex add-on.  Complex meaning an A2A type or Milviz king air, PMDG 737 etc

I use the autopilot in several planes without any problems.

Of course, the Jab never had the pretention to be complex. But im just saying that it is definetely possible to push it to the next level, right now, with the SDK 0.8. FBW are making their own custom AP aparently, so.

Most of you lack honesty, you knew exactly what to expect with MSFS and all the leaked beta tester posts. For the more expert among you who know the simulator since the beginning of the middle ages .All you had to do was wait for MSFS feedback in the areas you liked.

This thread is mostly about the problems that keep appearing with the post-release patches. I was very much enjoying the simulator even with its issues before Update #5 which broke the weather for me and several reported hundreds of users.

For me it's not so much the issues but rather the lack of transparency when it comes to certain community concerns and the dishonesty from Asobo.

MSFS is NOT accurate at the moment..

I play Call of Duty quite regularly. I don't beat myself up over the fact that its depiction of real world combat procedures probably leaves a lot to be desired.

Surely you’re joking.

So funny in this "Swiss watchmaking atmosphere".

Lovely.

Haha.  He's serious though.

As I wrote above, some people aren't looking for realism and frankly, have no idea how things are supposed to work in aviation.

COD is an arcade game.  MSFS is supposed to be a simulation.

I to am becoming increasingly frustrated...

I am yet to have a non spoiled flight with the sensitivities of my joysticks...My Saitek (Logitech) Cessna yoke...The smallest of elevator movements sends me on a roller coaster ride..up and down until I can regain some form of stability...then on take off/landing I only have to breathe on my rudder pedals and off i go from side to side... I have tinkered with the sensitivities to no avail...

Any advice would be appreciated because other than that I am enjoying it...

Dave

@davenicoll I have a Saitek yoke, not the Cessna branded one but I believe the internals are identical.
Mine is over 10 years old and at some point I modded it with rubber bands because it was driving me nuts in X-Plane

Here's how I have it setup

Do you have the flight model option on "Modern" in the MSFS settings?

I do Filou...I have run out of ideas...
