June 13, 20214 yr And don't forget guys, the improvements they made for Xbox will filter down to the PC version. They said that in the last Q&A. They said that means a significant performance boost for us. I think that all comes with the DX12 version for PC, If I'm not mistaken. I wonder if that will be the next sim update for July. Jeff D. Why would you want to play it on xbox if you already have PC version? Flexibility? Maybe someone is travelling away from home, while dragging your Pc might not be an option, just taking an Xbox and using a TV already at the other place you want to play MSFS all of a sudden simming away from home is possible. To steal an American phrase, I think I might be 'pumped' about this. I hope I haven't used the phrase incorrectly. I hope it isn't anything rude! Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Why would you want to play it on xbox if you already have PC version? I think even PC-only users have good reasons to be excited. Xbox is DirectX 12 only, so we're getting DX12 for PC, including all the optimisations for Xbox they've been talking about for months in the dev Q&A live sessions. They said they're not going to maintain two separate branches for PC and Xbox, so an update with lots of performance improvements is coming to PC soon. Hopefully around the release date for Xbox, but I wouldn't be suprised if the DX12 release for PC is slightly out of sync with the Xbox release due to additional beta testing.
